The owner is an older guy. He said he bought it in 1990 and a few months after buying it bought the kit for 1200 with paint. He said the guy messed up the paint on the kit so he got him to repaint the whole car. He said the paint job is a $1500 paint job. Believe it or not the paint is 15 years old. He keeps it in his Garage and very seldom he'll bring it out for some sunshine. This is one hellofa 2nd gen.

I didnt notice how shiny the paint was until blacking out the license plate on the rear. There was a reflection of it on the rear bumper too. Its a 5-speed SE. I asked him about the interior and it looks flawless but he said he had to clean it out. To me it wasnt messy. I didnt think to get a pic under the hood. The next time I see it outside Im going to ask him if I can get a picture of the engine as well.

Wow, that's immaculate! max88q, your rims would look much better on there than the ones he's got. Awesome car though.

I tried that already. He said he figured if he put a steep price on it then noone will want it. Believe me I asked him. From the way things sounded he doesnt plan on getting rid of it any time soon. He knows what he has, and he plans on keepin' it. But if that day comes Ill be right there.

I saw it today driving, I was surprised he took it out. Everytime I see it, it makes me want to kit my car with that same kit and completely repaint my car.

That is in great shape but it is giving me some flashbacks of when I was a bit younger. Those wheels were hot when I was in high school
It is really good to see it well taken care of. I may not care for a lot of its styling cues these days but it is a reminder of what was cool back then. It is really awesome that someone has taken care of it so meticulously so you gotta have respect for that in itself. Props to the owner

Nice ride! What's funny is that a guy down the street from me had this same setup on his 2nd gen! Same kit and wheels just a different color. He doesn't have it anymore, I wonder whatever happened to it.

I tried a while back but he was honest and said whatever I offered him he would just come up with a ridiculous price over mine. I think that car will be staying in the family for many years to come. Its a 5 speed too.
