Some new Cardomain stuff

Finally took some time and put my Q45 build up on Cardomain.com. I am nowhere even finished with the car, its a start but a very good one. My goal is to have a very comfortable, good looking - yet stealthy, big cruiser I can drive around on nice n sunny days. I put some pics up on the .org before but I haven't shown many of the engine rebuild etc. I have learned alot working on this tank, and basically anything on my Max is a piece of cake now.

Enjoy the ride---> http://www.cardomain.com/id/blackbirdvq

Yes Sir I did. It ran but warped cylinder heads cause overheating issues and few blown radiators.... I decided not to get a new-used JDM engine (never know its condition or what not) but rebuild my old engine. You would be supprised how cheap Q45s like mine go for on Ebay. Thanks to Infiniti's lack of advertisment for the Q45 the car never caught on and only a few thousands where sold over the years. I love the car, it keeps me from wanting to buy new, unreliable, ugly looking car and gives me an excusse to pour $$$ into the old car for repleacement parts- aka MODS. My father-in-law is beggin me to sell him the Q, but I told him I will find him a nice clean example as mine is not for sale.

900 bux on Ebay + few thousand dollars in restoration/modifications = still better than anything you can get nowa days with 4 doors RWD and V8.

Looks great. I always liked Q45s, especially the 94-96 models with the grill. Now I'm jealous.

Thanks for the comments guys !

Whats next ? I got a deal on a 93 300ZX 5spd 2 seater T-Tops for 300 bux, its a non-turbo with a blown motor (wtf is it with me and blown motor Nissans ?). I am thinking of eighter putting a VG30DETT in it, or going lil bit wilder and different with a VH45DE from a Q45 like mine but with a 5spd tranny. Its been done before but the intake manifold doesn't clear the hood.... obviously I am leaning towards the V8 As originality, drivability, reliability are all high on my list. I wouldn't mind putting a LS1 into it, but it would require alot more customization etc, plus it wouldn't be powered by a Nissan motor anymore.

One I am talking bout has a Q45 V8 swapped in along with twin turbos.

I'm not diggn the old school cast iron block 350 lump in a Z32, its eighter LS series V8s or no GM V8s at all for me.

Thought you would want to know, third paragraph.
I pretty much rebuild the engine from...
I think you meant rebuilt or had to rebuild.

Really good pics, shed new light on Q45's for me. Hope to see more on it.
