Beast sleeper Mustang....

outside.....looks pretty normal

but it's a bit of a sleeper

btw, it's for sale right now. The guy selling is on my autocross team. $20K for a 500+ whp car in mint condition with super-low miles, and an engine/turbo setup that's good for over 1000 hp if you want it that high. If anyone wants da power, see:

boost lag or big boost throttle + exit corner = hard to handle. I would imagine at least.

he does mostly open-track stuff with it. He brought it out to an autocross last year and the maxima beat it both times....he just had too much power to navigate the tight courses that were set up that day. He is apparently building up a turbo Miata to use for autocross.

wow, u should mesh up the front grille so no one can see that intercooler clearly... one helluva set up... I could do without the yellow though, its my personal opinion that all sleepers should be dark in color to give it that stealthy look

well...it looks pretty "normal" on the outside, doesn't it? That would make it a "sleeper."

The turbos are mounted up front to keep them as cool as possible (hence vicinty to the intercooler as well).

Although I have a big hate for Fords, that Mustang body style has always appealed to me. The only way I have respect for a Ford is if someone does something like this and puts true engineering into it.

Could you immagine if you made it look like a V6 Mustang! Oh the fun you could have!!!!

kind of like the Evo around my neighborhood who has the tail taken off, some really basic-looking wheels on it, non-Alteeza tails that look like the regular lancer, and the EVO badges taken off, and then replaced with the "L A N C E R" badge off the regular lancer. Obviously, I can tell the difference, but I bet there are some people who don't realize what it really is at first glance

This guy's next project (and why he's selling the mustang) is to build up a 400whp Miata for road-course racing.

And keep in mind, he'll be doing 400whp with no NOS, since it's illegal in RR and AX (he doesn't do much drag)....
