Got a new car.

As most of you kno i totaled my 03 6speed TE/SE. Well I got a new car last week. Its an 01 BMW 540i in a 6speed manual transmission i picked it up for 24k it has 72k miles on it. It was kind of a conpulsive buy as i saw it then the next day i bought it. I miss the maxima alot. So yea...here are some pics. A couple are from a local bmw meet that i went to. I just wanted to come here and say thanks to all the help you guys gave me, i learned alot. Thanks guys.

Just a suggestion...

Beat the hell out of the owner of the white 7 series, take rims, place on your car FTW!

Nice car and I hope you enjoy it.

Did you not read my whole post... No need to BUY them, just get a bit physical and they are all yours.

Between kicks and punches, get him to say; "You can have my rims, just take them off, I did not want them anymore anyway". That way you did not steal them, they were a present from a very nice guy.

Very nice. I'm a huge fan of the E39's. What you got is basically the next best thing to an M5, I'm sure you'll enjoy it

congrats, just to let you know your max, was my favorite max on the org. quick question, are all cars expensive in the salt lake area? i just looked over auto trader in detroit and for 24,000 i could'e bought a 2003 with 50,000 miles and a 6 speed, or a 2002 6 sp with navi.

Beautiful car, I used to dream about getting a dark blue 540. You're 19 and spent $24k on an impulse buy? Clearly it's time to redo my finances...

$24k is kind of steep, but you paid that much for the 01 facelift - 97's can be had for $16k easy, even as low as $10k if you are willing to buy one in the 150k+ territory.

accually i got a really good deal. They were asking 28 for it and wouldn't go down a whole lot. My grandpa's friend came in and bought it at whole sale then sold to me for a little over that.
