New (used) bike

Picked up a 1990 Yamaha FZR1000 a couple of weeks ago. I got it pretty cheaply because it wasn't running and the owner wasn't interested in finding out what was wrong. So it was a gamble on my part.

I rebuilt the carbs, adjusted valves and replaced a few odds and ends and cranked her up over the weekend. Runs great, and cosmetically she's a beaut. I love the classic double headlight look.

That's my Kwaka ZX11 I got back in the spring. That bike is like a hot rod Lincoln. Big and powerful and very elegant looking.

I paid $1500 for it. That's a couple of hundred below loan value. Not a fantastic deal, but it's got pretty low mileage (for a 1990 model) at 17k, and it looks like it has never been dropped or abused.

Very nice bikes man. The ZX11 is freakin' sleek, and the FZ1000 looks quick and rugged. Would love either one of those bikes.
