Hella nice, doesn't need any mods. It's as good as is. But if anthing, I'd get some HIDs. (that is if you don't have them already)

In the first 3 shots, what settings are you using on the Camera? Love the E39, is that a black/white Roundel you have there?

lookin very nice! the only thing i would change would be the wheels. get some rims off an M5 and that would look so good.

sick cars. my friend finally got his too a coupla months ago, its exactly like that. black on black, 6spd 02 with 46k for $46 out the door including 3 year extended warranty. oh ya its an ///M5 tho ! its a beast....

what are your plans for it?

Different expsure times. I think they were around 2 sec. It was getting pretty dark. I kno the first pic was at least 2 sec

And good eye about the roundels

Performance is a little longer
Remus or supersprint headers (need to search a bit)
Dinan Exhaust
Dinan MAF and IM and stage 4 software
Dinan Clutch/flywheel
Dinan LSD of somesort i think its 3.15
m5 rear sway
Coilovers of somesort
then dinan brakes (if they fit under m parralels)

then after the gabillion years it takes for me to get that done i might supercharge it....but who knows

Awesome car. It will be my next car as well. I'm looking at the 540i wagon for more practical reasons (snowboards fit in the car). Do they also come in 6-speed manual?

I personally think that 740i 18's on a lowered E39 looks the best look if going with OEM wheels.

The 540i wagons were only offered in Automatic here in the USA

. Although 525iT and 528iT's were offered in 5speed manual.

Or you could always do a swap:

This car has the S62 M5 V8 and the 6speed tranny.

Mass, your car looks great....but I'd take an M5 Wagon with a 6sp MT over any other Bimmer out there, simply for uniqueness factor.

Yeah the M5 wagon would be sweet... if it didn't have Kumho Ecsta 712s. I guess it'd make a decent drifter.

At least one guy has swapped just the 6M into a 540i wagon as well... I don't recall how much it set him back though.
