Running at the track one final time...before I say goodbye

So I have officially given up and de-modded my maxima...it's been great modding maximas for the past 4+ years in my life...I will continue to surf the org and go to events...however my heart is set on another car...and at the moment, I am saving up for it...

La02max & nismo14 - not sure...i'm thinking of the Z or the s2k...the Z is suppose to get a new engine this year...but I dunno if I can afford 30k car....I might settle with a used s2k below 20k...SSRs I sold

but its cool...I bought some falken 512s for my 17x7! they grip very well for such a cheap tire! la02 - what psi do you have them set at?

I have them set at 35 all around. I guess it's a good thing that you'll be selling your car, because as soon as those tires get 20k or so on them they suck. I'm already contemplating getting new tires and I don't even have 30k on them. When they were new they were awesome

haha...its all that cross country traveling huh? well i just barely hit my first 1,000 with these falkens...estimated mileage should be 7k on the falkens..by the time i sell the car...and according to the research, these tires should still perform very well at 7k...i heard 15-20k, they blow

yeah, once I hit 20k on them, it was very noticable. Of course, my track experience at MSR for maxus probably shortened the life considerably And of course all the freaking traveling that i've done in the past year...oh well you get what you pay for. Next time I won't be so cheap

Hey nice pics man, and sorry to see it go. Your maxima was very nice and hope to see you still on the .org. With your next car, good luck and hope you can mod it whether it be a 350Z or a S2K. Did you consider a used 350Z at all? Nissans lose value very nicely.

Used c5 vette?

Of the choices, I think the Z would have a slight advantage for me. More low end grunt, and if its a newer model, GREAT high end power with the REV-UP engine. Either way it's a win win. Better car, better performance, better handling. What more can you ask for.

i did consider a used 350z...but i have a big feeling that i am going to regret not buying the 07 with the HR engine...as with the s2k, I will end up buying it used anyway...and the engine hasn't changed drastically over the years, unlike the 350z...

nismo14 - I'm sure there are nicer more bang for the buck value cars out there...but I am too chicken to venture out into the German, American market...

one of the slickets maximas on the org - the SSRs will do that

A shame to see you go. Take care.

BTW, test drive a Mazdaspeed3 - very fast, awesome handling, looks good, and great aftermarket support. I like my wife's "normal" Mazda3S, but the MS3 is downright outstanding to drive.
