Nice wheels. I have the same ones and had the large fenderwell gap at first too. I fixed it by installing Illuminas and H&R's. It looks perfect now, not too low and still daily drivable.

The rims are nice, you just need to lower the car.

yeah the more i notice stuff like that the more i think my car was in a couple different accidents. there's that gap betwen the fender and the hood, and also the driver side front wheel sticks out from the fender while on the passenger side it is flush, probably to do with the fender not being aligned quite right. plus the rear bumper and trunk lid look like they have been repainted. seems like nothing too major though, the frame is all straight.

the wheel well gap has lessened with just driving it around, I think I wanna lower it but not too much. I was told Tokicos would be good without giving it too firm of a ride. do they make like 1 to 1 1/2" lowering kits? thats about all I would want.

The H&R springs drop a little less than 1.5" if I'm not mistaken. Not a really harsh drop and they have a very sporty but still driveable feel. I like them a lot. Try them. After you install them, it will settle a little bit lower after driving for a few weeks.

I don't want to go lower because it's not a show car so I don't see any need.

and the first picture was taken after I had the car on jack-stands so the suspension wasn't settled down all the way, thats why it looks all jacked up. I didn't mean the car has gotten lower since I bought it.

I found some H&Rs on this site:
http://www.streetrays.com/catalog/pr...oducts_id/3578

does that price seem about right? I hope that's for all 4, or at the very least for just the fronts or rears. it provides the perfect amount of drop though, F 1.4/R 1.3".

They also have Tokico blues on this site for $203 for the front and $147 for the rear.

I think the attention of the 4x4 look is taken away by the amber bumper lights...either way man. Nice wheels.

Your springs are 10 years old....they don't take time to settle after the car is jacked up. Your car is riding 4x4, just as much as many others are (I know because I am too). It doesnt matter if it's a show car. It doesnt look good with a giant gap!

I didn't say I didn't want to lower the car, just that I didn't want to lower it anymore than 1 1/2 inches or so. I know it looks pretty bad with the big gap and I definately wanna change that, but I don't wanna be scraping frame or anything like that.

Well 1.5 is barely anything. People are dropped a good 2" on here and they do fine. 1.5 drop wont hurt the car, and it'll make it look great. Go for it.

I cant even clear a soda can

lol

but yes, many guys on here are riding more than 2 inches of drop...(mine has settled to about 2.0-2.1) and you dont have to worry about scraping your Resonator (probably one of the lowest underbody parts) or anything like that as long as you drive carefully.

Hey I had a question for yous guys, I noticed when I first got my car that the dash and the center console was a slightly different color than the rest of my interior(interior is light tan, dash is dark brown) and I'm not so sure that's stock. Does anyone else have a different colored dash than interior, or would this mean that my dash has been replaced? My guess is the airbags went off and they replaced the steering wheel and other stuff. but I'd like to know for sure.
