lol i would love too, but not going that all out. plus 2jz swaps can be really up there in price. the 1jz will still be fairly reliable and still acheive some high hp.

Awesome car. I heard of some people swapping the supra tranny into the sc400.

My buddies are currently doing a 2jz Gtte swap in a sc300 right now.

Man Ray you sold your Max? Well you still did get a good car instead, love those SCs man.
That SC400 has lot's of miles on it, and some chipped off paint. You gonna fix that right?
Also love that look you're going for! Make sure you get some nice rims on that beast.
Well keep us updated, dont' leave yet.

If you're going to do that, why didn't you pick up a 5-speed SC300 instead? Just curious.

to be honest with you, finding one around this area was a pain. all the nice ones, clean ones, non-salvage titled ones, were like out west, down south, midwest, etc. Didnt have time to take off to get em. So i found this one relatively cheap, good condition. older gentleman owned it. and contrary to belief, the 1uz-fe to 1jz/2jz swaps arent necessarily harder than the 300's. Few things need to be removed/changed, but also alot of parts are reused as well.

Oh, I know. I just figured that if you could, you'd rather have a 300 (in particular with a 5-speed). I have been a member on the Supra forums for years and years, I know all about these things. I just suggested a 5-speed because I figured it would have less headaches in taking the power
