DONE!.... well, almost.

After owning the car for 2 and a half years I can finally say its the maxima Ive always wanted. I do still have plans for a 3.5 swap with a lightened flywheel and direct port with the Kinetix intake manifold tuned with the Emanage Ultimate; but that wont happen till next spring. As for now Ive done just about everything Ive wanted on the car.... So we'll start from the beginning.

Day 1 - Stock

Getting rid of my doo doo brown dash.. yes i painted it

1st 4th gen cefiro retrofit..

The color is not the Nissan KH3 although it may look similar.

Ive always wanted a really dark metallic grey that was almost black. This is the Audi/VW Obsidian Metallic Pearl. Its hard to see in the pictures but in the light there is a distinct metallic flake to it. I do need to wet sand the car to get rid of the orange peel (which is why it doesnt look very glossy right now) but I have to wait a bit since I just got the paint done. But that should bring out the reflection tremendously.

You can kinda see the flake here:

Anyway, there she is.. finally

Picture #3 in Post #6 is my new desktop background. It looks stunning, very nice car.

Oh yeah...fix that trunk alignment. It's sitting a little high on the right side.

By far the absolute most beautiful Maxima. I'm sold on it. Great job Grant. Must have more pics. Nevermind, I'll get them in person.

I cannot say enough good things. You make me want to get a 4th, just for the eye candy factor! Desktop worthy, ........On all three computers.

Very nice Grant!!! I must come up and see!! I thought that it was a good looking car...now I KNOW that it is the best looking Maxima I have seen!
Those wheels do clean up that car!! Do you think that you will catch on a lot of those Raleigh(SP?) bumps?
