Eh, Professors really don't look that great on A32s IMO and the black spoke chrome lip is really played out IMO, why on earth are you selling the MRRs?

morpheus - i think sp1s look good on a32s. i have always like the black/polished look (even before it became the ebay special), in fact i looked back at my old cardomain (hasn't been updated in ~4 years) and check out my photoshop then:

i can't believe how little my tastes have changed.

as for the mrr, the 19"s are too big for me to go as low as i want and remain flush. i never really planned on keeping them on the car anyway, so i figured sell them while they are still new.

Dude, I can't wait to see the in progress pics. I still have my I30 up on jackstands, but once I put on the coils, I'll pop my wheels on to see how it fits.

Lookin good man.

not enough lip FTL. lousy beam = no rear camber... unless you bend the beam.

the plan looks great michael. but get more bippu-style wheels and VIP style spoiler. the Professor/MeisterS1 style is alright but the black with polished lip is kinda played out. the chrome trim i like. ive got the full cefiro door handles and i do have to say it looks pretty good. is this going to have the chrome window trim? +1 in my book.

another thing: dual exhaust and a slight smoke on the tails.
dont forget the curtains on the windows and the JDM VIP rearview mirror accessory.

if i get the usdm i can get a 2.x" lip, jdm sl disk 3". there are a lot of vip cars in japan runnning sp1/meisters. i think the chrome handles look good on yours because of your se trim. once i add the i30 molding and window trim the chrome handles just seemed a little much. i think calling it a vip style build is a little much, but there will be some influence in there.

I didn't realise that you had the signal mirror covers ready to go on this project. They didn't appear on the photochop at least that I could see. I see that you did take some of my other suggestion though.

Personally I like the rims in the first chop better, but it's your car. I'm sure that the "work" brand is more expensive and probably carries more mystic. I'm not really familar with different brands of wheels.

Get the tint doubled over and don't forget to do the windscreen. something like a 50% looks killer up there. Sorry I don't have any pictures as I've only seen it on a benz.

Also, it's too bad that there isn't a way to design a rear bumper cover that is lower to the ground without looking hideous.

a friend of mine has doubled the 5% on his windows all the way around. I think there is an apx. 50% on the front. I could be wrong on that number though. Next time I see him, I'll try to shoot some pictures if your interested.

What about the inside? Full suede treatment on the dash and pillars or what are you thinking?

the mrr do look nice, but the size is an issue. also, i think the build deserves smoething a little higher in quality. i've always liked the hr-2, but i've always like the sp1 better.

it is a kit, it just happens to be a kit where the bumpers are replicas of the i30. i might throw on the stillen rears, but i have to make sure they match up first.

Go wider than 8.5! FITMENT

For a cruiser/show car, I would do no less than 17 x 10 +25-30 all around, pulled fenders, front cambered in 2-3 degrees

10 is just not gonna happen, and i don't plan on pulling. i'm gonna start with 17 x 8.5 +30mm just to be safe, but i already have my eyes on some different specs. i'm basically picking up these clearance usdm wheels for the building stage, then i plan on upgrading to the jdm in sizes not available here. btw, how much inner clearance do you have with those 9.5 +35 in the front?

From what I saw I had plenty, but I can check again soon if you want me too with a ruler or something...

If you want to be safe just go with 9 all around with a +25-30 offset and camber the fronts in...rears will be flush with that offset like my 9.5

the specs i want are a little more (8mm) sunk in in the rear (nothing a little spacer can't fix) but i'll be losing about an inch of inner clearance up front. or i can go 9.5 +30 normal/low disk and pull a little (lips would be NICE!). d**n you... mr. fitment strikes again.

yes sir... COMPLETELY red with CF accenting.

*edit* in case you're having trouble picturing it...

i will probably have the cf water transfer printed rather than a real kit so i can get pieces i couldn't regularly.

you know, that's an awful lot of red.
Why not do the inset in a carbon fiber black leather print?
or, spray the speaker cover red and keep the carpet part black along with a suede black insert?

just my $0.02

i started with a cf insert and tried a couple other things and this was my favorite. i'm making a point not to have it 2 tone. anything vinyl/leater/carpet and all plastic paneling will be red. most plastic trim will be cf hydro print with only a few things remaining black.

thanks for all the opinions guys.

I would like to see either a crystal (think later I30) or DTM version of those tails. That's one of the things that make the Q45 look so great IMO. Are you staying with the Maxima front end or doing I30/Ceffy?

cefiro front end. the tails and trim are still up in the air. i deided to get the car together and then work out the details. i should have a build update (pics) coming tonight/tomorrow. my guy installed the jics (w/o air) today and test fitted the wheels (19" mrr). we are talking about radiusing the fenders so i can lay it out and still run flush 19" wheels.

lol... i ordered the dye for the plastic panels last night. dash and dorr panels will be rewrapped. i'm thinking of having the panels modified for 3 way front stage speakers and fiberglassed first though.

You would BARELY have to pull in the rear, maybe 5mm TOPS, the front you can just camber in and pull a little if you want...
