In the Beginning... A32shop.com Build Pics

Here are the first pics. Keep in mind this car has been between 4 shops and 3+ years of storage. It is now stripped down to the frame and being completely rebuilt.

Wheel test fit.

Flush!

Front wheel slammed on JIC-Magics.

Rear wheel.

As low as it'll go... for now.

The next steps will be:

Body Work
Tires
UAS Air Ride
Truax SFC
SKP Dezigns Side Skirts
Radiused Fenders (?)

I hope the weight of all the parts that are removed wont greatly compress the suspension when its all put back together and you wont be able to get under there..

looks like you have or rather had the same rusting area that I had just infront of the rear passenger side wheel.

Did you end up not having the antenna shaved?

that was actually from a wreck i was in years ago. it was poorly fixed and i was in the process of re-doing it when i put the car in storage. i don't know why i didn't prime it. the antenna will be shaved, besides the suspension and taking off some parts this is pretty much how i brought him the car.

i decided to stick with them because my body guy felt like he was up to radiusing the fenders. theres also another very similar wheel that just came out with the same specs that i have my eye on. if i fit it for these, those will fit too.

Man keep us updated! Love it! It would be so fun to do a project like this if I had the shop area and everything to complete it. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Is your carpet going to be the same grade as OEM, or will it be plush? or?

i really wanted ultra plush, but to get the color i want i have to use neon cut pile (which by the samples i recieved looks to be the same as stock).

I look forward to the completion of your build. I've never seen a Maxima before with red carpet! Should be very cool. So the inside is going to be very sporty then I take it, while the outside will be clean/simple and VIP style?

the inside will be a blend of sport and luxury. i decided to do blackwood instead of cf since it was too similar to a well known car in the vip scene. steering wheel will be a sporty style by fabulous, broadway style mirror w/ tv from paradox systems, diamond sticthing, and an EXTRA SPECIAL suprise that i'm going to keep to myself (in case it doesnt work).

example of stitching only:

i'm also tring to put a lot of technology into the build like shaved inner/outer door hadles, led everything, a/v, and some advanced suspension/performance goodies.

the exterior will be clean and simple. basically a shaved maxima with a ceiro front end. stance and fitment will be emphasized.

floor mats: carpet matching red, headliner: red ralph lauren micro fiber , rear deck: red oem type material probably.

all the trim will be blackwood for a nice contrast. and i mean all the trim. there will be a few chrome/silver accents as well.
