My 2004 Max!

Hey yall! I'm somewhat new to this forum, so I thought I'd showcase the ride! I have a 2004 SE (with a 2007 front end!). Hope you like it! (Thanks to Luke for some of the photography!)

That is an awesome job on the front bumper. How much did the total project cost you? (labor, parts, paint, etc).

Well, it wasn't as easy as intially believed. Here's the breakdown:
  1. bumper - $60.00
  2. bumper paint - $250.00
  3. edge contour - $200.00
  4. '07 grill (upper and lower) - $200.00
  5. new fogs - $125.00 (to be completed)
  6. bondo for grill opening - $20.00 (did this to save on bodyshop $$)
  7. hood paint - $250.00 (to be completed)
  8. hood channels - $100 (not necessary)
Here's where the hood needed to be contoured, before and after:

That is a beautiful car inside AND out! I love the '07 front ends, and you made it work beautifully. The seats look amazing with the two-tone. I'd say you probably have one of the best cars here. Welcome to the forums!

This looks like a good option for those who still want a 6.5 gen look but want a 6spd.

Oh, I know tell me about it. It bothers the hell out of me. It's OK though, [ahem] Luke said he'd help me paint the inside of the lights anyway, so I should be able to clean that out I hope!

Very clean 6th gen, inside and out. The black and chrome works very well. Did you spray tint the taillights or apply overlays?

Those are tint overlays. However, I think I eventually want to get them sprayed...not sure though.

Haha, yes, I removed the 22" symbol of the side. The car is completely debadged except for the front one that had to be put back on for the new grill.

Thanks so much! I was just trying to keep a clean, simple look. I'm not a big fan of cars that go overboard.

Oh, and wirelessdude, I'm guessing you know Silverfox?

Because she can!!!! I have to say that I can see how some can see it is a lil overkill but the execution of it is really clean. The extra screen could come in handy if your passenger wants to watch something and the driver is using the navi for instance. Its also just something to show off which all of us (even though we may not want to admit it!!) like to do in one way or another. Clean car by the way. The extra bit spent on getting the hood contoured like that made the biggest difference in the world to the front end. Keep up the nice work and its nice to see more females on here doing the damn thing.

Hehe yeah, the top is a screen, the middle in my navigation, and the bottom in the original info screen. Delvin's right, when I'm driving, people can watch the top screen while I use my navigation.
