Couple pics of my rides

Some of you know me as the Mustang guy in the gone (however much I disagree) Weekend Battles section. The two white vehicles in the pictures are mine. A 2001 Ford Lightning and a 2003 Cobra. Both are pretty much stock. Me and a couple friends took a cruise up to Prescott a couple weeks ago and I figured I would post pics of the spot we pulled over to take pics at.

Sure, this is in the wrong forum (should be in Members Rides), but I don't see the need to Ford bash here.

Please show me where it says that owners of non-Maximas are not allowed or welcome as members of this site.

How in the hell is what I am doing Spam? I went to General Maxima discussions because hey guess what if you read I used to be in the Weekend Battles section and hang out in there. I am not posting this to bash Maxima's, just figured I would post it to some other CAR GUYS (Ford guys or not).

If any of you really would like to put the Found on Road dead to the test I challenge you to race EITHER of them and you won't like the outcome.

He actually did imply that he was here for Weekend Battles.

Anyway, just because you would rather not be on other forums discussing other cars that you don't own, doesn't mean that others don't. Many of us are members of other forums for cars that we have either previously owned, currently own, would like to own, or are just interested in. I don't see what is wrong with that.

Give the kid a break. So he posted pictures of his cars in the wrong section, big deal. It'll be moved, I'm sure. Members post their rides here on the .org even if it's not a Maxima (or Nissan). Seriously, the flaming in every piece of this forum is just ridiculous...

Oh yeah, and amidst all this BS, those 3 Fords all look good. I especially like the gray Cobra.

Reading skills >>>>>> you... Notice I said a couple friends in the first post thus making it 2. My old GT (listed in my signature) blew the motor with 70k hard driving 400+whp miles on it. Not bad for a stock motor.

You can call it unreliable all you want. There are many Terminators (03-04 Cobras in case you didn't know) over 100k miles running 500whp on the stock motor... Not to mention I also seem to remember quite a few in the 9's on the stock motor... Not many Maximas doin that.

Once again I am not here to bash Maximas. I had one back in the day when I first started driving. So now I have Fords so that means I shouldn't be on a Maxima site and post pictures of my cars. Sorry for posting them in the wrong section that is my inexperience with this board.

I am not a real big fan of Fords, I am a Mopar guy deep down. I think your Mustangs are nice, and I welcome you to this or any other forum. Variety is the spice of life, as they say.

Why is it too many .org-ites are so close minded. Too many "my way or nothing" attitudes. I have a couple friends with Mustangs, both a real fast quarter mile cars. When they say "whose is faster?" I always respond with "around corners?" that always shuts them up.

dont listen to these retards...I have lots of respect for the mustang . Hope you dont get the wrong impression of maxima owners now. And FYI I have seen MANY fords, including the mustangs, make it well over the 100+ mark. I could list a whole bunch of unreliable hondas and other foreign cars if you would like....let me know

Have you ever tracked it in the 1/4?

Man you have a really nice exotic car and who cares if its not reliable maybe its his weekend cruiser and not his daily driver.

Thread is now moved to the appropriate section.

Either comment on his car or don't. Leave the bench racing discussions out of it.

So if you went to Prescott, does that mean you're from AZ? It doesn't say in your side profile where you are located. If so, woo hoo! Another fellow Arizonan

Wow, dude... Nice rides. I cannot BELIEVE all the crap you've gotten thus far in this thread, unbelievable. I was brought up on Fords and Nissan's only and honestly believe Ford makes a damn good product. Look at the old 4.9 Liter straight six's, and the 5.4 and 4.6 Modulars are incredible power wise and for dependability; also, I absolutely loved the transmission in my dad's old 2000 5.4 Flareside F150... 3:55 LSD.

I drive a maxima, but we also own a Ford... And a Harley... And a Honda... No sense in bashing someone for their taste in vehicles, and from the pics I see, there shouldn't be any bashing REGARDLESS. Such sweet rides, SVT all the way.

Mine should run mid to high 12's with an IRS Brace so I can launch it. It doesn't add power but with nearly 400lb ft of torque at the wheels and sticky tires you can grenade an IRS diff or halfshaft pretty quick. Keep in mind the only thing done to the car is a K&N CAI and Bassani Catback.

I am in Arizona. I live in Avondale, work in North Phoenix (hell of a drive). When I was growing up I didn't honestly like flaresides or stepsides. They kinda grew on me and when the Lightning became available I jumped at the opportunity and really love the look of the truck. Your dad seems to have a nice flareside as well there.

Nice. I live about 10 miles from Avondale

I also grew up on Fords. My dad has a '99 Expedition with over 120k miles on it, and it's probably the best SUV we've owned (after having a couple Suburbans, we can't complain lol)! Got 4 Nissans in the family, 1 Ford, 1 Toyota and 1 Honda. Your vehicles are awesome. I've always liked the Lightnings!

both his fords r nice cars. like it or not they r qwik cars. Yes this is maxima community but we should be open minded not liek redneck domestics about imports. Just couz we drive maximas doesnt make maxima superior over others... we juss come togheter couz we drive and share the common interest. Now to bash him for putting pics of a ford on a import site shows how narrowminded, childish, and arrogant ppl can be.

I like the Cobra; the white one. I'm not a big fan of that body style; the 89-93 body style is what I'm really after.

I would have bought a Lightning if I found one in time ... but I'm happy with my Titan.
