Weekend Fun Time
I went out this weekend with a few other cars from the car club (here at PSU). Was myself, an '06 STi, an '05 Legacy GT wagon, an '05 GTi, and a last-gen Acura Legend. All of them had awesome coilover suspension setups and a bunch of power mods. I had...00VI, y-pipe, and a tranny cooler. That's about it haha. I did manage to keep up with them and actually shocked them with how well I was able to hang with them, leaving the guy in the Legend behind hardcore. There are videos, if anyone wants to see them, but they make it look like we were cruising at 40 or something, it's weird, they make it look "slow."
Anyways, on to some pics (some taken by me, some taken by others):

Thanks for the compliment. Car is horrendously dirty in the pictures, but that's to be expected when driving over dirt, gravel, mud, water, etc. to get pictures haha. That look isn't complete yet, I still need to do the black trim AE-style to the clearance lights and I'm putting all new glass-lensed headlights in and re-doing the projector retrofit for the headlights this summer and it will look a lot better. I will post a vid or two shortly.
EDIT: Here's one of the vids. Sorry it's so boring. Keep this in mind: on "straight" stretches we are doing between 70 and 80, even though it looks like 30 or 40. Also, at no point am I flooring it. I'm also a mostly stock auto tranny 4th gen

Oh, and after this weekend, suspension mods are next up on the list (except for maintenance and tuning). Won't be for a month or more, but my car HAS to be lowered now haha. As far as wheels go, I will likely hold off on them until I need to upgrade in size for some reason, and even then it will likely just be 16" 97+ SE wheels to fit bigger brakes.

That road looks seriously entertaining. We have roads kinda like that up in northern AZ. They're so fun to drive, but I would never go faster than 30 cuz they're switchbacks (every curve is sharp/blinding). Anyway, it looks fun! lol
Did you have someone holding the camera (my sound was down cuz I'm watching tv), or was it mounted? It's very clear and steady for such a bumpy and wild ride!
And there's nothin' wrong with a mostly stock Maxima
I've got 99 SE wheels for sale. Too bad you're not in AZ.

It was actually on a sticky pod mounted to my passenger window. It's not that great of a camera (it's not even mine), but I was surprised at the lack of shakiness. It was vibrating and jarring around the whole time from what I could see, but it turned out pretty good clarity-wise.
Oh, that road, basically connected with 2 other roads, is about 30 miles (what we drove) of nothing but the twistiest roads central PA has to offer. Lots of elevation changes, tons of curves, short straightaways, etc. Most of the good corners weren't on film, they either happened before or after the period I was filming. Also, we could have been going even faster, but of course these are public roads and we were concerned with not killing ourselves and others.
When I go home again this weekend I'll have to remember to take a picture of my car. The wheels are almost a graphite color from all the brake dust I generated
