New Car!

Okay so had to sell the maxima. Decided gas was killing me and i wanted to get something cost efficient. Sold the car quick and made some money while i was at it. For about a month I was on ankle. Needless to say I saved alot! No gas, and no insurance! Anyways picked this up yesterday!

Yea, it looks like the first cd deck ever made. I have an alpine deck ready to throw in.

First things first, I have to do some maintenance. When I bought it yesterday it was sputtering bad. Almost did not get home. Turned out the plugs where cheapo, crapped out, Overgapped champion plugs. Bought NGK, threw them in, the car ran like a champ. Then im going to sand and bondo the rust on the wheel well. Do something about the rust on the hood. I will drop that bich! My brother had a db1 and he kept up w/ me in my 96 auto.

Good DD, i used to have one for a daily. The b18 in those are tough as hell too. Mine had a knock on 3 cyl and a bad headgasket. The car ran great as long as you just put more oil and water in it every day lol. Still got decent MPG like that too.

The B18 is killer. Im telling you the car was still driving w/ crappy plugs gapped double. Im thinking Im going to buy a new distributor. I took the one apart and although its o.k. a new one will make a world of difference. CAI coming up, and i have a friend that'll help me rebuild if needed. We love these g2 tegs. My family has had 8 tegs, three currently in the family!

Well Im a poor 20yr old and dont really want to dish out 70 bucks to fill a tank. Until today I was loving the 6th gens more and more. Its more of just a luxury car that packs i.e. Lexus LS rather than a 4dsc. Got in a 6th gen today and i could not see out of the back window. I really felt it was just too big. I guess it all comes down to preferance. 4th gens are getting cheaper and cheaper, When a clean 5-speed comes along I'll try and ****** her up cheap! The DB is fun to drive, it weighs 30 pounds more than the 90-91 hatches and weighs less than the 92-93's. The B18 packs 140hp. Its not as quick as my maxima but I think i can get close. Almost done w/ bodywork and changing the oil/coolant sunday. Also have a CAI ready to throw in.
