Sold the Maxima and bought a................

Well the maxima went back to the dealership and i picked up a 2000 328i with the sport package and a 5 speed. Since i bought it i have added 35% tint and the 17" bmw zhp style wheels. Let me know what you think.

Looking pretty nice. Before I bought my max, I was considering a BMW 3-series coupe... The sedans still look nice, too though!

Nice upgrade, even though your max looked sick with the M wheels.

All you need to do now is get rid of that dealership emblem.

Terms of styling, your maxima was better looking. Power, maxima. Handling and overall driving fun, BMW. Drove a 330Ci recently, and loved it, but still would rather have the Maxima at the moment.

Congrats on the purchase but I have to agree with 95 Maxnout...

I'm wondering if the 5.5gen may actually be quicker in a straight line than the 328? what are your impressions now that you have driven both cars?

The maxima in a straight line was quicker than the 328, now i am not going to bash the maximas because i still love nissans, i have owned 2 maximas and a Altima. My modding has only just begun on the bmw, it will be very different by the end of this summer, now as for the performance aspect. The only place the maxima had this car beat in was straight line performance, so if its straight lines your worried about than the maxima is a better car. Now thats where it ends, handeling cornering and fun to drive factor the bmw owned my maxima. I have never owned a car thats been so enjoyable to drive and so much fun! The rwd is a complete blast and with the sport package its suspension is incredible and it handels amazingly!! Personally i like the look of my 328 better than my Maximas ( i know thats subject to opinion but i bought it because i have always loved the 3 series body style ), also my max was pushing 85,000 miles and my transmission had been replaced once and was starting to show signs of going out again. So back to the dealer it went and i traded it in on the bmw. I am VERY happy with my choice and would not look back. Plus the bimmer only has 50,000 miles.
