Just thought I'd share some random pics of my new seats since I've received a couple of PM's lately of people requesting pics.

These are full leather Corbeau A4 seats.

I splurged for the double locking sliders for aesthetic reasons and easy of adjustability. The double locking sliders added $20 (each) to the cost of the bracket.

They feel great and hold me very well during aggressive driving.... and my car smells like a brand new car. Gotta love leather when it's brand new!

On with the pics.

Here's the seat itself.

Here's a picture of the bracket with double locking slider the way it came originally.

After I installed the seat, and with the seat in the utmost forward position, I couldn't push the clutch in comfortably. With the seat all the way back, it almost touched the back seats! So I took matters into my own hands, cut off the brackets, moved the bracketry up 3.25 inches, and rewelded. See pic.

All done and repainted.

How are you going to relocate your seatbelts? Are you going with a 3 point harness?

The seats look sweet!!

More pics.....

Each seat was $500
Each bracket was $80 (including the double locking slider)
Plus shipping. All in all, it was around $1250

Purchased from here (see link below). He's an authorized Corbeau dealer, and his customer service (Jim is his name) is pretty good.

why would the seat belts need reworking, they look to be in the same exact position on the new seats?

They look awesome BTW

For now, the stock seatbelts are retained. Simply take the stock seatbelt receptacle from your stock seat and attach it to the new seat. Done!! See above pics and following pic.

I'm definitely kicking around some ideas regarding custom seatbelts/harness's etc. Still in the planning phase.

Nice! A friend of mine has some corebeau's in his mustang and they are probably the most comfortable and fuctional "race" seats out there.

I didn't know Corbeau was making A4's anymore. The leather is a nice touch. They are super comfortable seats; as long as your waist isn't bigger than ~33" or so. I used to be sponsored by them and got a set way back in '01. I just had the black cloth, but then that got really dirty so I had the seats redone in leather. The only issue I really had with the seats was that eventually there would be "slop" in the seatback. I guess whatever reclining mechanism they use develops play. But this was after several years, so it's not a huge deal.

Yeah, it seems like a lot, but when you compare them to other lightweight racing seats, these are a bargain. These are also FULL leather, not partial leather like most.

W/o leather these seats are very affordable IMO. The leather did add a lot to the cost.

The seats I really wanted cost the same as what I paid for the Maxima... 6k (3k each).

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Wow! They look so comfortable! I just hope you have good security cuz listing such expensive mods is very dangerous. Thieves no longer break into cars now. They camp for people in their tow trucks...
Anyways... love your mods and be safe (you and your maxi, but especially your maxi)~!

I've always wanted new seats for my car, but have been hesitant of the install issues. Can you give a review of what it feels like to drive in the seats? How's comfort? Support? Do you feel more tied into the car?

Sure thing. Just let me get a little more driving time with them (and a good chunk of time to write a decent review) and I'll give a thorough review.

Close. It's my 91 Silver Turbo Supra.
