new 4th gen - suggestions are very welcomed - UPDATED

UPDATED with pics - bottom of original post!

i've had my car for about a month now. i got it june 26, 2 days before my 17th birthday. i got it 100% stock with 107,000 miles for $3,800 including 3 month powertrain warranty. it's a 1997 GLE with tan leather interior

now i know that before starting to mod a car, it should be up to date with all maintenance and mechanical needs. i have completed that and i passed both safety and emissions inspection about $2,000 later. most of the exhaust system was replaced, along with a vent control valve, charcoal cannister, and O2 sensor. i also had maintenance done---oil change, transmission flush, new wipers, and drive belt replacements. the car should be set and hopefully will only need routine maintenance from now on.

i haven't done much, but so far:
-took out pinstripe
-took out black tape on door pillars
-debadged trunk
-changed all 4 tail lights
-changed bumper lights
-changed stereo head unit
-hardwired a GPS

i washed, dried, clayed, and waxed her today, so i decided to take pics.
i'm not too concerned about performance mods right now, i want the car to look good first.
ANY comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Update:
purchased 18" murano wheels off of another member on here.
they came with Continental ContiExtremeContact 235/40/18 tires. they don't have too much life left in them, and a new set is on its way from tire rack.

car was washed and dried today. wheels were cleaned and tires were shined. decided to take pics, but only this one came out good on my phone:

pic from last week, friend putting air in my tires:

next mods will be: (probably in this order)
suspension & drop, brake pads, tints, aluminum floor mats, air intake, and hardwired radar detector

clean car man. I have always loved white maximas. I would do wheels and suspension next. I think some 5 spoke 350Z touring wheels would look great on that. Also get that tint removed and replaced. Looks a little purple. Go darker Just my .02

I agree with Weeble1...I would definitely replace that tint first. Next I would drop it and get new wheels.

Looks good so far. If you plan on getting wheels, a drop is a must...your car looks 4x4 enough already, just imagine it with 18s. Also, try cleaning your headlights with Brasso or some type of headlight cleaner...it makes a world of difference without spending money on new lights.

Keep up the good work.

You are off to a great start. If you plan on tinting the windows darker though, I would replace that black tape you took off of the doors.

Go with some 18s. If you want to do the suspension right get some nice coilovers...

A big +1. White B Pillars on a car with tinted windows FTL.

I'll echo what was already said and recommend some OEM Nissan or Infiniti rims with a drop. After that you should be all set in the looks department. I also like the look of yellow fogs on a white car; This could be accomplished pretty inexpensively with lamin-x or another vinyl tint.

Great start. Like others have said, drop that thing. Not only does it look better dropped but the handling is 1 million times better.

young driver look? or more like elite/excutive look ( meaning clean and not loud, but everything just flows and nothing is scream POW!)

hairdryer+fingernails.
after i peeled off the tape, i used goo gone because of the stickiness from the tape that was left over.
took about an hour for the tape on all 4 doors.

dude, if you're gonna get larger OEM wheels from a nissan model get the 17's from the 350z like the ones i got, they're cheep and wide in the back 8.0 inch, won't need spacers. the 350 18's only look good w/ a Kit, and coilover drop. and besides 18inch stock wheels...I dunno there are alot better looking 18's out there. even though WhiteA32 looks nice. and beside you don't wanna bite.

take a good side shot and i'll do a photoshop of them on it

Those rims look good on your car, but it's definitely begging for a drop now.

i think i'm going with KYB-AGX shocks/struts and progress springs.
my best friend's mom is the manager of an advance auto parts, and she could order the shocks 50% off. the only springs that AAP carries is eibach, so i MIGHT consider them over the progress
