Sunny Skies and Blue Water Shoot

The weather started getting nice here in Florida for the past few days (No Rain. W00t) So I decided to clean up my baby. Washed, Clayed, Waxed by hand and rotary buffed. Had to dress her up before the engine project I'm starting on Friday. Here are some pics:

is your lens/filter smudged?

At any rate, definitely a clean 3rd gen. Respect.

Thanks. Yeah, I love the spoilerless look, It's actually an SE lid, I just had the holes welded over and bondo/paint. I saw your third in the other thread, looks nice, love the UK front end on it Definitely a sleeper, I'd assume it was a VG on first glance.

I think it may be, I let my little brother use the cam to film him skating or whatever but he neglects to clean it, I also think some of that was sun glare though. It's basically just a glorified Point and shoot.

Thanks though, I try not to overdo it.

Yeah, I have a few.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments. I'll be sure to let local guys know if I'm in the area, I'm planning on taking a road trip soon, after I get my projects done.

Thanks, yeah I try to keep it as clean as possible. I get kind of obsessive compulsive about actually cleaning it though; as long as it's not raining it will get cleaned every day

Yeah, I'm really glad I went with eibach/tokico, had I went with B&G It would have been way too low and I would have regretted it, I scrape my front swaybar on everything as it is But the ride is incredible compared to stock, I can't wait until I get poly all around and some suspension techniques f&r stabilizer bars.

Yeah, it's wonderful now that the rain let up for a few days. I was getting depressed after that 2 months of rain every single day.

Your car looks to be in great condition from the pics you post. It takes a lot of perseverance and patience. I bought my car in January of 2007 and have a total investment of just over $1,300 into it including $300 worth of body work. I figure if I bought something newer and had $200/month payments that would equate to about a little over 6 months, and I doubt I could have found something in better condition/ modded than my car for the price I paid + $1,300.

Though it was kind of funny when I first bought it...

That picture still makes me chuckle.

yeah i try to post the "better" side of the max if i got closer in my pix you'd see all the oxidized paint..knicks..the stuff i want to get rid of so bad

I've had my car since March 2007 and because mom pesters me about not "fixing it up" I have hardly enough money invested in it to really post..only $352 worth..but yeah you've come a long way! Hopefully by next summer i'll have added some new goodies
since i am going off to college, she can't tell me no then! lol
