The thing fast esp in 2nd and 3rd gear, it accelerates like no other I've driven dispite its weight. I miss a true manual tranny though. The Viper was in your face driving, you drove it, whereas its computer aoded driving with the GTR.

I wouldnt say he's lucky...he worked hard for what hes got. Luck doesnt play a role there...props man! Seeing cars like that motivate me even more to do well in life...
Enjoy your new ride. I must say I do like the viper more though...

I was just being sarcastic. Of course luck doesnt play a role there. To be honest though, the Viper just looks better to me. I'd rather have the GTR.
The Viper is more of a raw driving experience, being one with the machine, stirring the gears, and it keeping you on your toes.
The GTR is damn fast, and I must say looks really mean (I saw my first one at night parked on a streetcorner with the parking lights on and I just about shat my pants), but to me, it is more like the starship enterprise. "Computer, set a course to starbase 171, warp 9. Engage"
Of course I can't say since I haven't owned either like the original poster, but I am curious, what do you think? I am sure the Viper and the GTR feel like two drastically different machines. Both absolutely fantastic in their own ways.
I see this has devolved into the typical discussion about 'which car is better'..
Both are very different - sounds like OP has a taste for trying different cars. I like that. If I ever have the money to do this, that's exactly what I'd want to do. Sure, some cars may be 'better' than others, but if you can, why not try an array or different ones? NSX, Viper, GTR? Why would you limit yourself to just one when you can sample them all?

Nice NSX Man. All nice cars. Do you know if your NSX made its way down to Canada after you sold it? My freind wilson, one of his NSX freinds has what looks to be almost the identical NSX.
Both are absolutely fantastically awesome cars in their own ways, but they are two very different cars with two very different purposes at the same time, almost like comparing apples to oranges.

. I miss the manual though. The Viper you drove, the GT-R is more computer aided driving, if that makes any sense
.btw-I have some new goodies to post up soon
