Finally fixed my suspension! Some pics of the 4th.... ***updated w/ more pics ***

EDIT: added more pics I took on top of a garage later in the thread. Enjoy.

Some of you may know my car was down for a month or so because I had a rather catastrophic failure of my strut mount and KYB AGX.

Anyway, it was 20 degrees F out last night and I worked through the night to fix it, got it done and took some pics this morning!

You are correct sir. I like the drop they give, don't like how soft they are for the drop they give. Honestly, they aren't much firmer than stock. They bottom out easily and because of all the movement I am sure they are killer on struts.

Believe me, that is next on my to-do list. Even with sunglasses on when the sun shines on those wiper arms I think my retinas are actually burning away inside my eyes lol.

That is just normal shine....didn't do anything fancy other than wash with normal carwash soap and water. The windows are kinda dirty on the inside so they aren't super clear. Maybe being dirty on the inside and clean on the outside makes for that reflection since they aren't as clear? Who knows....

Hey guys, I've got some more pics of my car I just took. On my way to go take these photos I was being juvenile and floored it in 2nd to throw some distance between me and a guy in a Tribeca tailgating me. While doing it I dodged to the left lane to be first at the traffic light next to a Tahoe.

Up comes the Tribeca and smashes into the Tahoe right next me. If I had stayed where I was, that 4600lb Tribeca would have hurtled into me at 40 mph wedging me between it and a Tahoe.............

Anyway...I am thanking my lucky stars for that one, but heres my photos that I took after that whole incident.

This one would have been pretty good if I had a quality DSLR. Unfortunately all my photos are taken with a small compact point and shoot camera with extremely limited manual settings.

It starts to get really grainy at the higher ISO's on this camera. Ideally if I had a tripod and could do a longer exposure at a lower ISO I would have been able to capture more of the city below (I was on a massive parking garage, like 8 or 9 levels.)

This one would have been cool again if I had a tripod. All the other photos were with the camera resting on something because at this light I was doing ISO of 80 and 3 second exposures.

Damn chevy trailblazers are quiet. A security guard snuck up behind me to ask me what the heck I was doing and spooked the crap out of me at the end of this 3 second exposure. Kinda made an interesting effect since most of it was of the car.

Thanks man! Yea we definitely should get a meet going sometime here in Denver. I know I've mentioned it in the regional section but I've always been too busy to really get something going.

The car is lowered on Tein S.Techs. The back is sitting a bit lower than normal in the above pics due to some **** I am hauling around in the back, plus a full tank of gas, plus two 10 inch subs. I kinda like the looks of the drop the S.Techs give, but those springs are way too soft for the amount of drop IMO. They bottom easily.

PS I think I bought my HID's from you!

Anyway, I yoinked some i30 goodies at the yard and installed them. Got tilting black leather head rests and an auto dim mirror. I also hardwired my radar detector while at it.

you need a tripod and manual mode to get better night shots. lighting is key as well.

Definitely. I posted up all my blunders in that post right after the better shots.

Unfortunately I just have a point and shoot. Luckily I can manually control the ISO, but I either go automatic or fixed exposure times of 3 seconds or 6 seconds.

The only one that really really came out good for a night shot was the one in my sig, but since I didn't have a tripod I had to put the camera on the ground and set the timer so I wouldn't shake it.

Man I need an SLR.....bad....
