MIK3's Photoshoot

Finally took some pictures of my car. Here's what's done so far...

-19" Ray's A34 Nismo 19x8.5 wheels w/ Nexen 3000 245/35s
-Tokico Illuminas
-Tein H-techs
-17* Timing Advance
-NWP Block Plate
-NWP Spacers
-K&N Drop in w/ GAB
-Ambered day-running lights

To come pretty soon...
-Stillen classic front lip
-Vibrant FSTB
-Possibly headers

looks clean but i dislike the rims. i don't think they flow with the car...maybe slammed with a body kit they would look better?

guess you really wanted to post the same comment in two different threads huh

To the O.P, your the second person that has gotten the right tire size for those rims.

Looks good, curious to see how it looks with the lip. If you haven't gotten a RSB yet GET ONE. How the throttle respone and power after the engine mods?

Not a fan of the amber lights, but otherwise the car is flawless. The wheels match very well, and your plans to add a lip kit will set it off nicely.

Thanks all. Yeah, I'm kind of wishing the front sat just a tad lower...there's still some wheel gap there that I'd like to take care of. I might put S-techs up front, who knows right now.

PulsarGTS, my timing was actually retarded a degree to 13* (must of been from previous owner) and so I actually bumped up 3* which was nice, that, plus the plate and spacers made I've more than regained my low-end, shifting seems so much more easier to do (car doesn't want to stall at all), and the throttle response is quicker with out a doubt. Very happy with the money spent. Can't wait to move on to big mods (headers, cams, pulleys). I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks man. That is due to Liquid Ice. Works wonders and highly recommended.

Anyone have an idea on what it will cost to get a Stillen Classic lip painted?

This is correct. I MAY be able to go another inch if that. The wheels are 19x8.5 w/ 245 series tires, so I don't have much play width to work with. I know I wouldn't of been able to do S-techs all around, this is for sure.

I dont know if you checked out my thread but i have the same set-up as you. However i am lowered on tein ss coilovers. I am at my limit as far as ride as well unless I want for the tires to rub. Negative Camber might help with that issue but being slammed or having the tires tuck will not work.

Looks good man, i like the rims i think they're very clean. If you ever swap out the front to s-techs maybe you'll sell those front h-techs to me

I have to admit, the car looks very clean with the 350z's on there. Nice choice.

Thanks man. I'll make sure to keep you in front for dibs if I ever sell my front H-techs.

Do you guys think it would look weird with S-techs up front and H-techs in the rear? Will my nose sit too low?

It's pretty dependent though. Just like paintjobs, there's Maaco, and then there's paint jobs where pricing is down right rediculous...it's all a matter of how detail oriented and amount of quality you want out of it.

And thanks for the comment 25gtrbo

This is true, and because of the pearl on the car they want to charge a premium. I'm still gonna shop around of course. Sideskirts and lips usually cost about the same too. And this same shop only wanted $125 per sideskirt for 3p0 Red on my old car.
