Nice level stance. How's she hangle now? Oh any reason you didn't opt for Illuminas?

She handles much better. As for the struts, I got a screaming deal on this setup now since it was used. Maybe I'll do Illuminas down the road.

I would, but it's still the main family car, and I don't think my back can take it anymore since I totalled my S/C'er.

I think once I get the correct size tires, it'll probably fill in the gap a little more. Right now it's only 225/40/18. I want 245/45/18...but my tires are practically new.

I'm lovin it! The 5th gen should have came at this height from the factory. There is still enough wheel gap to not bottom out or rub when the suspenion compresses, but the 4x4 stance is gone for the most part.

Running a larger sidewall will not fill the gap. The gap will be the same but you'll just sit higher off the ground. In fact, when I ran a 245/45/18, a would rub the fender lining on full turns. Keep the size you have now. Your speedo will also be off by a decent amount.

Look for the tire size calculator and use it...

I had 245 45 18 on the G35 sedan sport wheels for a while and it looked horrible. They also rubbed the fender lining, but my car is much lower than yours. I would go with 235-40-18 or 245-40-18. I have 245-40-18 now and only rub with a full load or when going over big bumps.

I definately want to take the spoiler off your hands for sure.

Aye, I agree. I think the problem is I'm running 1 size to small on my tires. I think with sizing the tires up will fill it in slightly, but yes it will essentially raise the car slightly. I've been using the Miata tire calculator, and oddly the GLE tires are different. 245/45/18 is actually a pretty close match.

Why? I have 245/45/18 and I like the way it looks a lot better...granted my spedometer was reading high before, so now it's more accurate than before (normally it would throw it off pretty bad) and I got the tires for free....but as far as looks go, I like the 245/45/18s

To the OP: all you need is some spacers in the back and it'll look great.

have those H&Rs fully settled in the pics? That is a REALLY subtle drop still leaving a lot of front wheel gap..is that the look you were expecting from the H&Rs? The car looks good with the G35 wheels just IMHO there is still too much front wheel gap but it definately looks better than stock

Looks good! Are the angel eyes the ones with the full rings? or do they have that plastic bar running across

What size you think? 5mm? 10mm? I don't think it would need to be much in this case.

The rears were finished the day before. The fronts have been on since early december, but they have extended out some when the car was jacked to do the rear install. I wasn't expecting that much gap from the H&R's, but the ride quality is where I want it.

They are the umnitza CCFL ones. They aren't a full ring as they don't go around the flat top of the circles. They don't have a plastic bar either.

You could run a 5mm spacer just fine. Just as long as your rear beam is centered.

Hmmm.... I really like how those rims look on a majestic blue... you're making me wonder... esp since those are relatively cheap now.

I like these pictures:
