My cars: 5.5 gen and BMW E36

Recently got some 6.5 gen wheels/tires for free, so I thought I'd take new pictures. The tire size is 245/45 and I actually think it looks fine that way, and since my spedometer was previously reading too high it works out there, too.

The E36 I bought a little over a year ago for $600. I've since done quite a bit of maintenance/restoration on it, but it's kind of put on hold because someone hit my rear driver's quarter panel and it's going to cost me quite a bit to fix..

And some more of the max:

Yeah, my rear bumper is mis-aligned and the paint on both bumpers doesn't match...this car has been hit twice while parked and body shops just fail at matching pearl white, and apparently the body shop I went to didn't know how to install my rear bumper either...

both cars look great... funny to see how smaller the E36 is comparatively.

I'm not sure if I like them...but I got them for free with basically new tires, and seeing as how my old tires were shot, I figured it was the best thing to do. I want to get them painted polished titanium like my old TE wheels, and I think they'll look better. Then I'll get a set of lightweight 17's down the line.

Thanks for the compliment!

6.5 gen rims look good, not out of place at all.

Never considered debadging?

best looking white 5.5 gen I've seen. Everybody wants to black those out, I'd go the same way you did.

I need to change over to those H-techs in the front. That drop looks perfect!

I think some 350z track editions would look great on that car, but maybe I'm biased lol

I have...and I think I may some day; just haven't gotten around to it yet, I suppose.

Thanks. Yeah I was thinking about changing it up and blacking out the headlights/sidemarkers, darker wheels and SE tail lights, but the all clear/no amber look just goes so well with the pearl white I didn't.

I want to get some lightweight 17's like some 5zigen Fn01r-c's or some Kosei K1's later down the road, but like I said it would have been stupid to pass these up. Although I didn't notice any decrease in performance and my gas mileage was the same (just got 34 mpg on my trip back from Texas), these wheels are HEAVY. I mean REALLY heavy. They made my old TE wheels seem light, and I thought those were heavy.

It's a clean-looking car, debadging will help look even cleaner - it was the first thing I did on my pearl white '02.
I think I had the same license plate frame too...which makes the other Maxima emblem look a bit redundant, IMHO.

I had the 5-zigens on my spec V and I was very happy with it. That's a good choice but I'd want to be pretty lowered on them with some 45-50 series tires.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I might do it pretty soon. But then that key hole is gonna bother the hell out of me!

I want to get some 8 or 8.5 in. wide wheels, so I'll have some pretty wide tires on there. I think my 245/45/18 tires fit the wheel wells perfectly so I'll try to keep it a similar diameter.

I'm thinking about putting 265/35/18s on the front on my 8.5" track wheels... It's going to poke lol

Very nice and clean! Mine looks almost the same; minus the spoiler, wind deflector, and 6.5 rims that I was thinking of putting on... so, not really the same, but close...

The pearl is a ***** to match. My car has been in three times but my body shop has been able to match and blend perfectly.

Lucky. I get pissed every time I look at my bumpers My car's condition is way too good for it to have mismatched paint...

Thanks for the comments everyone.
