Uncle Sam was good to me this past tax season. I Was able to do a lot of mods especially with the audio and parts of my suspension.
Wheels:
I painted them this pass January, stored em', finally decided to mount them. Gives the car a dramatic new look. I'm still getting use to them. Custom center caps, because that's how I roll.
Grill/Badge:
My fake Active Tuning grill with Nismo Batz Maru badge. I have the traditonal badge but I wanted to sport these for now. Painted the grill with Duplicolor primer, black lacquer, and clear coat. I kept the lower aluminum grill. As you can see, I forgot to touch it up with paint before the pics.
Audio:
Two 10's G5 subs by Boston Acoustics
Alpine MRP-1000 amp
Alpine MRPF-250 amp
Four Polk Audio dB 6.5
Amps are mounted behind the rear seats on a wooden board covered in carpet. I'm still shopping for a head unit
Suspension:
KYB GR2 shocks/struts
Tein springs
RacingLine F/R endlinks and FSB
Progressive RSB
Fujita CAI, and murdered out roof trim
You know I gotta Haiku this:
Black rims in spring time
Ominus look for the Max
BBK's are next

Fellas, You really think I'm gonna hit my ride with chrome when I have the black theme going on??? The tails are smoke not chrome.
Yo Gollum, i finally get to see the rims mounted... They look hawt man! Yo you gotta debadge that trunk man. loose that momo badge also. what made you go with the nismo batz maru badge for the grill you didn't like the other one?
So how do those subs sound with the amps and stock stereo system?

The subs hits pretty hard. I have a Memphis amps/subs set up in my truck but the Max's set up totally PwNs. Single head unit or double D's? I can't decide.
Batz is unique, I haven't seen one on any car. He will stay on for another week. I just may go badge less all away around.

go doube d's man... you did so much work already might as well go the extra step. so you debadgeing that trunk soon?
My opinion... rims look hot, especially the custom center caps. Grille is good. I dont mind the Nismo Batz Maru badge, but it looks just a tad too big. Audio setup is nice, should provide plenty of sound. But the tails look out of place for some reason. Theyd probably flow better if they had black housings. Overall its a pretty sharp ride.
I debadged my trunk with a flat wood chisel. I placed a cotton cloth behind the chisel so it wouldn't scratch the paint and it worked like a charm, no scratches and i could use back the badges if i want.
i think some auto stores like autozone sell a plastic tool which can be used to do this. prob cost around $5, but this is one mod that shouldn't cost you anything because it's so simple to do.

I feel so stupid...lol
