My new car!

Well I wouldn't call it new. More like a little project that I'm trying to get running. Well here is the background story to the car. Oh and don't mind the rust cause the camera was set with a different setting which made the rust look really bad when it wasn't. And the underbody of the car is still in really great condition.

My dad got this car, not sure what year he got the car. But the car is a 1981 Honda Accord 5spd. My dad use to live in canada before me moved down to cali. Then after wards, he passed it down to his sister (my aunt) when she came to cali to live. After a while my aunt stopped driving the car which was back in 2001. And now the car has been sitting in their backyard for the past 7 plus years and they asked me if I wanted it and I said sure. The car has around 91,xxx km which is about 56,xxx miles on the car. An 1981 with only 56,xxx miles!?!? The pictures will prove them self.

Pics of the honda

Wow! My friend had 1 exactly like that in high school. We used to pile 5 or 6 people in it to skip class. LOL!!! I thought that those were all extinct.

Keeping the engine. I don't really have much plans for the car besides getting better with driving stick and have it as a DD.

Well I wouldn't call it a find since it was my dad/aunt's car. And it has been sitting in my aunt's backyard for so long.

Nice man. They have a section over at 3geez.com for 1st gen accords. Best site out there for older generation accords. I use to moderate the boards, check them out when you get the chance, they should like this catch. Nice find.

A car from 1981 with 56,000 miles...wow not bad for a freebie. That 5speed badge is pretty awesome too haha. Good luck fixing it up, hopefully 7 years hasn't done too much damage.

Well the car has had a tarp over it for that 7 years, so it hasn't seen any sunlight until recently.
