Tried on some Saleen's...(warning: DIRTY car)

Awhile back I put my buddy's Saleen 18x9s +22 (or +24, not 100% sure) w.Dunlop Direzzas on my AE Maxima. Pics below.

The front pokes just a little too far, but I like it. If I buy these rims I'll probably just get spacers for the rear. I really do need a new set, my SE 17s are corroded and pitted beyond all hell so I'm looking at a few options.

Anyways, onto the pics.

Thanks for looking. I'm working on my exhaust now, I'll be doing a little bit of chassis/suspension and then find me some proper wheels.

Eh, wheel design is nice but the offset kills it.

They would look better if the front wasnt so up in the air but I think they look good.

you should drop your car first if you are planing to put on racing rims, your car wont look good until you drop it, unless you put 22' but the style looks good!!!

I agree on the drop, much needed..... Rim design is decent. Offset looks like a bit much.....

Yeah, I need to drop it. I think I want new rims first cuz the faces of mine are awful!

I took those pics basically right after we took the car off of the stands. But I understand that's no excuse

I like the offsets, it just needs to be more even in the rear IMO.

Bro you will rub all over the place if you space out the rears with that offest. The only reason they don't now if because your are lowered. Loose atleast an inch in front and add a tiny bit of camber and your set.

looks like you have a set of staggered wheels and installed them wrong...

What?

They're the same offset and width. They're not staggered. It makes sense to me I guess, the stock wheel setup on 5th gens is retarded, the front ones are flush-ish and the rears are sunken. (Read: Hot girl with rack, but no butt.)

^ +1. I Really dont like it, but possibly with a drop it'll look much better. I'd do the drop before anything, I think it's horrible to have nice rims w/o a drop.

Yeah, I want to drop it with a good spring/shock setup (would rather do coilovers, but I drive the car year-round)

But I want some nice rims first because mine are pretty beat up looking. OEM 350Zs or G coupes look nice but I want something sorta unique.

But first I need to install my headers/cat-back and Emanage Ultimate.

Looks decent... for a similar look with less complicated fitment the 1998ish SVT Cobra 17x8s fit perfectly on most generation Maximas. Jeff92SE used to have them on this 3rd Gen.

These:
