What a wake up surprise...

One of the worst things to wake up to if you value your car even a little (which I think most of us value our cars)...

Woke up and went to my car to take off and I see this. It stood out like a sore thumb, white on black!

At first, I thought I parked too far from the curb so I go to check:

Can't really get much closer.

I hate when that happens, especially when whoever did it could not have the ***** to leave a note or something.

The point of a note is for contact information so that the person that hit you can cover the damage...it's what any decent human being should do; unfortunately there aren't many of those out there.

My car has been hit twice and much worse than that... The first time it cost $2200 to fix (I paid my $500 deductible) and the second time it cost me a new bumper cover + paint.

Use a rubbing compound on it. It'll work much better than clay.

I'm in the same boat man, i'm hoping I don't have to get new parts (besides my corner light), your damage looks much lighter than mine though, g/l!!!

The leftover is not paint transfer from the a$$hole. I think its the angle or the light. Its actually damage to the bumper.

my max got nailed like that, dude actually left his info. Basically, he was young, i didnt make him go through insurance, estimate was over $1500. Told him $300 cash when he can and its alright

pathetic thing is was when i took the rust off of my max the damage the dude left took me 15 minutes to fix
