A few updated pics of the truck

I finally had a chance to snap a couple of pics of the truck, excuse the filth hahaha its way to cold here to give it a bath right now, but you can get the idea of how it looks lowerd with the 5 spoke wheels with the low pro tires as apposed to the 6 spoke wheels i had on there before with the bigger sidewall.

Holy **** man that's awesome!, truck looks clean!!! hard to find them that clean i love those toyota's pickups all the older jap cars and truck were built to LAST!!!, basically today's cars and truck are so cheaply made and built in the US, the Japanese built cars and truck used quality parts and and are bullet proof.. My first hard body i ever has was a 1990 2wd same as my black one, with 350,000K miles on it it ran just as good as my 91 here, i picked it up for $225 bucks and drove it around for almost a year and i sold it to a Friend and he had it for almost a year, then the water pump went and overheated and he wound up junking the truck at that time it had something like 380K or more i cant exactly remember but it was really up there close to 400K miles

yea thanks man...it had alot of scratches and what not..but i had that truck since my junior year in HS (02) with like 96k miles..when i did college...i racked up on mileage big time. i agree...all these cars nowadays with all these BS recalls and what not, its ridiculous. i wish my truck had a/c i know i would have kept it...i just got frustrated one summer while i was trying to keep the mileage off the max i drove the truck during the week and the max on the weekend...i sold it with the thought of getting something else (another integra w/ a/c) but i never went through with it

the catch -22 is this , motor came out of a running 240sx,

motor and tranny are in , needs to be

Wired up ( ecu and harness there )
Battery
put the header on and weld up an exhuast

I got it from my buddy and I just dont have time to finsh it.

$800

so far the Drifter guys been messaging me but the guys down here are pretty cheap and want everything for free.

I think $800 is a fair price for small amount of labor

yep i do the same thing with this pickup i drive it daily and in the crappy weather, and i have my max on the weekends/nice days, it stays nice and clean in the driveway, of course i start it every other day to keep the fluids running through and to keep the batt charged. since ownership Ive put over 60K miles on this truck all those miles were kept off of the maxima.

Last time I looked and had a little money to spend the hardbody's were all surprisingly expensive and I couldn't find any Mighty Maxes.

Hopefully this summer I can pick up a hardbody if I can find one for a good price. Yours looks great

Thanks!, yea these little trucks actually have a good resale value, because they are known to be work horses and are great on gas

yea the starions looked like complete POS when i first got em, so i had to put some elbow grease in them to get them looking good. when i put those on, EVERYBODY loved the look!. painted the centers gunmetal (had no choice the centers lost all of their original polished look) and i nevrdull'd the lips and put em on..couldnt have been happier

BTW you wont believe how much i scored those seats for...$100 LOL that truck had so much win in it...ahhh i miss teh hail out of it

Thats what stopped me from getting a pickup here in CA. Always wanted one but after I heard about having to pay a commercial vehicle tax for owning a p-u, I backed out.

Yup so even civilians who wish to use it as a personal vehicle have to suffer . I on the other hand was gonna use it for both personal and commercial reasons. Still wasnt gonna pay the tax though...so I decided against getting one
