Then I got tired of all the problems that come with 20 year old cars and bought this:

And now it looks like this:

Very nice cars. I plan/hope to do a Y33 here in the next few years. The LS400 was sick with all the wheel combos.

Nice time line. I liked the Q and the LS. One of my projects in the future will be a LS430 VIP style. I spend way too much time on HellaFlush now to even ignore the thought.

the q45 is my favorite too. that is my all out project.

Titan needs to be debadged, needs big tow mirrors, and a leveling kit.

Gas mileage isn't all that pimp though. 18MPG combined if you have featherlite feet. Start ******* it and you'll be lucky to get 10.

not sure if you could call it "specs" but the plans were:

i30 front end conversion
custom/imported kit
shaved
19" lowenharts
q45/6g brake conversion
air bags over jic coilovers
radiused fenders
full red interior
carpc w/ tons of integration (audio, video, air ride, doors, windows, engine managment, etc.)
vq30det internals/manifolds
mevi

i had most of this stuff ready to go. when we did my taxes last year it came to a $40k loss iirc (not including the car).

i'll be doing a minor debadge (some, not all) and maybe picking up some deleafed springs from another local maxima owner (won't go on until i get some big boy shoes). towing mirrors...

word. he's less active on the forums but i hear he shuts down some local shoes.

we're actually international with members in japan and australia, as well as all over the u.s.

Don't remove the tailgate burger badge unless you have something to plug the holes.

Don't lower the rear ... raise the front. If you don't like that, just get some drop shackles instead of replacing the springs. At least with the drop shackles you'll have sturdier poly bushings instead of the marshmallow stock rubber ones.

I liked the plan for the A32 better than the Q or the LS.

But at least the truck is practical

naw... i was gonna leave the burgers, the side writing, the 5.6, and se. got some other stuff goin on that's extra (dealer, flex fuel, etc.).

i will never raise anything in my life. ever. afaik drop shackles are not avialable for the titan. i've read something about using some from another truck but they're cheap and crappy. i'll have 2 leaf packs (not modding my originals) so it's a no risk situation.

that would make sense since 1) it's a maxima forum, 2) that was a full build vs. a little work here and thereso far, and 3) most people don't like the 1g q's appearance (the ls is on the way out anyway, it was a temporary ride).

the q is getting/has:

intake/jdm headers/exhaust
custom motor mounts (raise the engine)
ecu tune
upgraded tcu
ipt built tranny
r32 gt-r differential with cooler
full z32 spl adjustable multi-link
jic coilovers with cup kit (air assist)
z32/z33 brakes
18x10/11 wheels
q45/z32/z33 hybrid steering rack
repaint w/ some custom body work
custom interior
audio (maybe with the carpc)

it's basically going to be a nuts and bolts build. everything from the ground up. it will blow the max out of the water.

There's drop shackles available for the Titan. Don't have to use another truck's .... I don't know why you would either.

The raise is only 1.5" to level the factory rake.

don't bother looking, you won't find a set. well you may find a set in <17". you may even find a set in 18" but widths/offsets will be super weak.

these were made in '95 and were found in japan circa 2000. the original buyer sat on em and then they changed hands 1 more time before i got them... still new in the boxes.

i've only done a little research since it's not a big concern of mine yet but the only ones i found were the suspension max/ebay shackles which are said to be designed for another make/model on the forums.

until belltech, djm, etc. makes something i'll pass. deleafed springs or flipping the axle is fine with me. much better than second rate parts imo.

PRG Products.

If you buy EBay anything, I will cut your rear axle off and steal the rear diff cover just to spite you.
