After 14 years...
So I decided to go out and buy a camera, a Nikon S570. Been using my roommate's for the other pictures which is a fairly decent Canon Powershot A80 - albeit a bit on the old side. The picture quality is pretty amazing, and at 13 megapixels with a 3200 ISO, it takes pictures large enough for the large scale media printing I have planned in the future (though the Canon 50D my dad has as well as the slightly older 4CCD Sony may take better tripod pro shots, this will work great as a point and shoot camera).
Anyway, the pictures I took with it pretty much got the color spot on unlike what the Canon thinks the color of the car is... It also picked up alot more of the metal flake in the paint:

Here's a picture showing the metal flake closer:

Edit: Oh yeah, also lowered the rear about 5/8" and the front 1/4" on the passenger side and 3/4" on the driver's side. I have no idea why the driver's side height was so off from the passenger... Even though I said I wouldn't, I removed the pre-load I had put on the rear springs, and I will say it rides much nicer... My roommate and I have both talked to a D2 dealer in the past about pre-loading the springs, and he said that basically the preset pre-load is recommended - which is basically just tight enough to hold the spring in place at full extension of the strut. It doesn't feel as "bouncy" over small or large bumps at speed anymore. It used to feel as though there was a rebound with a tremor afterward (if that makes sense). Now it just rebounds and settles right out.

The pics today didn't turn out as nice... Should just use the auto feature on the camera till I know what the hell I'm doing with it...
Just cropped and re-sized this one so it looks bluish again... you can also see my lip slipped down on the passenger's side, damn nice weather heating up the urethane...
Note to self... put mounting tape on inside of lip...

you got the car painted and all and they didnt put the head light flushed on the driver side it has a gap and all??
You ought to proofread what you post cause that is hard as hell to read... But to answer the question I think you're asking:
The reason there is a gap on that particular headlight is due to the lens cover being actually open. If you look closely, you'll see the closest projector shroud turned towards the camera (bastard moved and I didn't notice it till i was done taking pictures). Also, some of the adjustments to get everything straight causes the light to be slightly crooked. Finally, they're eBay headlights... they're not perfect.
You say that like its a bad thing
I'm not sure; my biggest concern is color matching. But, I'm not in any hurry just yet.
That I'm not sure of. I have an appointment the first week of march to get the car professionally paint detailed since the 6 week wait will be up; that may or may not include color sanding - didn't ask.

I would recomend wet sanding and buffing to get rid of imperfections in the clear.
After watching you contribute to the site banner discussion over in Photoshop, I got curious and found this thread. Respects where they're due, Mad-max: your Maxima looks sweet in Cyber Gray. That was the color I'd been jonesing for in the new Camaro; (until I finally drove the SS and remembered it was a Chevy. So sad.)
Anyway, nice progression on the 4th gen. Very unique.

Thanks Rochester. You're one of the few people who actually know what the color is "supposed" to look like.
Sorry I haven't done anything with the site banner in the last few days; I picked up a new client that needed some CD album art done, and my spare time has been limited. They're coming back in today for the third time for what I like to call a "creative minds pow-wow." Typically, they want to completely change everything I've done thus far because they didn't listen to me in the first place about the concept... I do first mock-ups and composites for free; I might need to rethink that policy for musicians... They've changed the LP title 5 times in the last 3 weeks which has required entirely new artwork to fit the feel of the title...

I tend to disagree. Only because of the offset of the SSR's was fairly high. I would have needed to run 15mm spacers out back just to make it look flush. Also the color of the wheels wouldn't have really fit the look of the car, same with the design. Professors would have been perfect, but they're rediculously expensive in 19-20" sizes that I would want to use. The rota D2's only go up to 18's so that was out. The sportmaxx's fit the look and price point I was able to afford at the time.
This picture you put up last week is a good representation of Cyber Gray. In fact, that paint is a complete game-changer, transforming your ride from rice to nice. The wheels look great with it, and those aftermarket headlights seem to "fit" now. I'm not a fan of the large, swoopy side-skirts, but in this color, I also don't mind so much.
What's next on your plate? If it were mine, I think I'd swap in some fog lenses, and paint the chrome door handles the color of the car (like the SE model). And the hood maybe painted Cyber Gray too, IMO.
Also, what's that large rectangular sticker on the back door window?

This might look good in that window corner...
