Sooner does have his helpful moments. Few as they are, they do exist and I won't deny that.
Everything else is just mean-spirited nonsense, born out of private motivation that innocent newbs can only speculate on. It's good to learn your lesson now, OP, and get beyond it.

g37's would look really nice on the 5th gen. Im a big fan of AE kit on the 5th gen because all the body lines on the car are squared out and so is the AE kit where as the stillen kit is rounded on all the bottom edges and doesnt flow very well with the rest of the car.

Anyway, QT1, I agree with your POV on ground effects on our 5th gens.

Weird... I just said pretty much the same thing in that "How many AE's..." thread not 2 minutes ago. The stillen lip is too rounded, too bulbous, in my eyes. I feel like a hater saying that, because most fanboys here get all wet about the Stillen lip.

Nice find, 6 speed, limited slip and Nav with less than 100k miles. Getting harder and harder to find a good 5.5 gen with reasonably low miles.
You should have a lot of life left in it, I've got 177,400 on my 5.5 gen and so far, no major issues.

on that subject...
last time i tried the side marker rewire my fog lights started to blink...no joke
i have successfully done the foglight rewire at the fusebox using a quik splice.
after that i gave up and just wired the sidemarkers as they were stock
what was done wrong??

Um, make sure it's your turn signal you're wiring into. I actually made that boner mistake.

follow up question= is there more than one way to do the foglight mod? reason i ask is the foglights are tapped into the parking lights (right) mine are..
and the sidemarker rewire is just tapping into the blinkers. i get that. but not sure what i did wrong because in the end i had blinking fogs

Yes, there is more than one way to do the foglight mod. There's one approach that allows for your fogs regardless of your daytime running lights.
But honestly, you're going to have to search and figure it out. I don't know all the details off the top of my head, and this ****** the OP thread, such as it is.
People are as people do.

congrats on your buy! 6 spd. HLSD, Maj. Blue, WITH factory Navi, is a gem. Hope u love the car. The 6 spd. 5.5 Gen. Maxima is truly a rare breed out there. U get the Xenons, the HLSD, and (if equipped) heated seats/steering wheel. Its an awesome car for the money. Enjoy!!

Which is funny because the NAV screen says "LEESBURG PIKE" and that's just down the street from my house. VA sucks but nice find nonetheless, especially when looking for Maximas. There aren't very many around here, not any nice ones nonetheless. Everyone holds onto theirs (like us).

thanks Hero...
so far i did the 6000K headlights, all weather floor mats, and have the 3000K hid fogs ready to install. I just wanna get a new passanger fog and place lamin-x film over the fogs to protect them from cracking again, and I will install the hid fogs!

When I'm on my death bed I'll probably regret the time I've spent on this subject. Hopefully I will have said my goodbyes and won't need the extra minutes.
In my opinion, pointless and mindless go hand in hand. I fail to see how someone who purchases a new to them Maxima posts about it on a Maxima forum, in the correct section and it's considered pointless. It makes absolutely no sense. I totally understand the "I'm a newbie and I didn't search" rant, though HELPING someone takes alot less time and energy than going on an on about how they should have searched. NOTHING is the way it "use to" be gentleman, deal with it and get over it.
Or maybe you and your compadre stockmaximaFTW can stay stuck in the past, start up theoldmaxima.org (I've already checked and the domain is available), and reminisce with each other while listening to Barbra Streisand's "The Way We Were."

I do alot of searching and he has posted a lot of helpful stuff in the past but he really has to have some sort of problem since now he posts in EVERY new thread bashing EVERY single new post. You would think he would encourage people to join the forums and start being active/posting.
