Wow that car is almost immaculate. I don't understand why you would lower the rear without lowering the front though..

im on a budget hahah im finding parts as i get the money. i bought a full set of old school 240z eibach springs on craigslist for $50 but i can only use the rears so only the back is lowered right now, im going to put on the front cut springs off my old maxi for now but ultimately im gonna swap out all that suspension with a coilover set up when i get the money.. and those pics are with all the stock suspension lol ill have new pics tomorrow

I believe your struts and front brakes are the same as the 280zx. I was looking into other options when i did my 280 front end swap on my 510 and i thought i remember that they were the same as the maxima...may be wrong...

If so you should be able to cop some shortened shocks (Tokiko Illuminas) off of an MR2 and shorted the strut housings, cut off your spring perches and either buy some shaft collars from granger or just weld some new spring perches.

I have my front perches welded on my 280 struts and i also have the shaft collars holding up my home made rear coilovers. They work great if properly installed....

I am kind of curiuos as to what camber plates you can run tho...that would def help finish off the front end

I have some pics but i have to sort through them along with like 200 photos for my soon to be posted build thread haha

I could try and post them, but the information is already out there, and i may lag like a ****..

Check out and search www.the510realm.com

Or even www.ratsun.net

You may even want to post up a build thread on ratsun, there are ALOT of knowledgable peeps on there.

Are you planning to do a 5spd swap?

I have always wanted to c someone attempt an RB swap of some sort in this...

Given its an L28, i am sure it should be fairly straight forward to do with a swap kit for a z/zx...I think Mckinney sells a kit...or some other company...

Edit : IBnewb
