Mad-Mad_SE's car is more than worthy of being on this page given the loose criteria stated. No one else has that paint on a maxima. Very few have pulled of a dual retro which has turned out as well as his either.

Until a thread with more specific criteria are stated in the initial post, quit your b1tchin.

I do agree for the most part but the purple is what gives that car its pop. Its what makes it stand out and so far nobody has done the 370 wheels except him.

Yes and no.
They do share the same A32 chassis, as does the I30 but once the Cefiro is debadged as a Maxima it loses all that made it a Cefiro. That is obvious just by looking at it. Even the engine options are no longer available for it.
A Cefiro is Cefiro, a Maxima is Maxima and an I30 is an I30.

That's why I put "custom color?" in there

But, there's nothing "special" about a stock set of rims from another car. If I put 5th gen rims on a 4th or 3rd gen, does that make it bad ***?

A Cefiro is Cefiro, a Maxima is Maxima and an I30 is an I30.
Its just a maxima, actually the Maxima is a Cefiro. This is like trying to distinguish the difference between a Camaro and a Trans am. Aside from sheet metal the are the same car we refer to both of them as F-bodies.

no it doesnt but, u have to take into consideration the offset and size of those wheels, also he is the first to do it and still the only max with 370 wheels on it. thats why. my wheels are actually less unique then his on this forum. Im sure in a a year and half that will change.

You can't compare old school muscle to newer foreign brands that has a baseline brand (nissan), and a "luxury" brand (infiniti).

They're still stock rims that are a dime a dozen. If the size is custom that's one thing. What are the size of those rims? 19x9 and 19x10?

I have always loved how people knock brands like Infiniti, Lexus, and Acura as if they are not real "luxury" cars, makes me wonder what does make a "luxury" car.

For now he is unique he is the only one to do them, and those are Rays. Guaranteed he paid over $1700 on those wheels alone, Are u going to get on somebody that has stock GTR wheels aswell they are even more expensive.

This thread is gettin so annoying.

@conrad283- some of the cars I posted may look a lot like the maximas of today. What you are missing is the fact the some of the cars I listed were the first to give a maxima that kinda look. Majority of those maximas paid the way for the look of maximas today. They set the trend that d@mn everybody is trying to mimic now. That's what makes them unique. For example, that burgandy 5.5 gen been around since 05-06...how many 5.5gens looked like than back then? Not to many. That's y I picked his car outta the bunch of 5.5 gens with stillen kits. Then the purple one. Its a purple max. Enough said.

I think you misinterpreted what I was saying. I wasn't knocking the "luxury" brands. What I was saying is that you can't compare a maxima and an i30 in the same was you would compare camaro to a trans am.

Stock GTR rims on a stock GTR isn't unique. Nothing to get on them about

Just because someone is the first to do it doesn't make it badass, and that is the whole theme of this thread.

I'm pretty sure that I have a guage bezel in my 4th gen that no one else has. Does it look good yes. Does it make my car bad ***, nope.

Why not, yea they are muscle cars and all that, but its the same concept as what they do with the maximas and I series, they take a car change the sheet metal so it will appeal to a different demographic and sell it.

im saying stock GTR wheels on a maxima, i think one person has done it and those wheels are fcuken expensive.

Ok, so with that logic the I30 is a Cefiro as well, same chassis just different sheet metal.

my point really its not worth pointing out that an I30 is not a maxima because tehy are essentially the same car, especially in this case where we are all just part of one community. Its as if u are saying if i put in a ton of work and my car was completely unique and most people would consider it unique its not suppose to be posted in a thread like this because it is an I30.

I think somebody mentioned essential1's car he is an I30, so its a nice looking car but its not a maxima? u kinda see what im getting at?

just because the wheels are expensive from the dealer doesnt make them cool or unique on ant car because they are still STOCK OEM wheels. why the hell would i spend $3000+ on stock wheels when i can spend the same on aftermarket wheels and get the specs, color, style, and size i want...

for anyone that actually likes my car, thank you, i know i am out of the maxima norm.

as for the satin black 4th gen the tubes comming out of the back are air lines comming out of an airtank molded into the bumper.

i'm gonna go old school as far as my personal favorite 4th gen. it's thebigsadler's. in 2002 it was very forward thinking as far as style goes. if someone duplicated it now it would still be the ****. and it was clean and classy. as hard as i tried to find pics online i couldnt. i'll have to pull them off my old computer.

brooke's was nice too, i never felt the wheels matched the car though
