i love the car...but not the wheel selection for the car...fitment is perfect, but i feel a different style wheel should have been used..imo kinda cheapifies the car..but i'm not knocking you what so ever.

I appreciate the comments. The wheels are 3-piece custom built Zauber Gettins, purposely/specifically built for the Mercedes (bolt-pattern and 66.1mm hub-size). I have always liked the design of these wheels.

My friend further customized the wheels for me. New matte black inner barrels, windows and lug bolt holes with new polished faces and lips. I really like these wheels. However, I change wheels yearly. So maybe you guys will feel the next set better.

Here is the build thread: http://www.mbworld.org/forums/wheels...-sl-cheap.html

i figured with this choice of car, you spent big chips on those set of wheels, which is why i couldnt necessarily knock them. but ill be waiting for the next set

I agree. Youve had sooo many great setups over the years but im not feeling this one. Im sure theyre very nice/expensive wheels but given all the amazing setups youve had in the past I feel this could be re-reworked... still, very sexy cars.

These wheels look soo much better, but some reason the fitment on the ones before were better. Great shots, great work, EXCELLENT car and loving it.

I think it's the lense that I used to take the old pics. These wheels literally have credit card fitment. They are +2 more aggressive in the rear and 6mm more aggressive in the front.

I'll post some pictures after I have time for another photo shoot. I'll bring all my off-camera light setup. Hopefully my rig will be completed at that time as well. These are my favorite wheels I've ever had. Work SC1 Black polish (machine polish face with gloss black windows) and close to +-0-10 offset all around. I'm glad you guys like them!

Works (and many other imported wheels) are custom made, they aren't mass produced in set widths and offsets like other readily available wheels, which contributes to a higher price. Also, I don't think Works are normally made with the Mercedes bolt pattern.

I like Works + I love step lips = I really like your car. Very nicely done.

Thanks a lot man. The Work Schwertz line is made specifically for the Japanese domestic market, whereas the Gnosis line is suited for the European market. It took extra time for them to custom drill the Mercedes bolt pattern along with the specific Mercedes center bore for that wheel design. It rides smoother than any other aftermarket wheel I've had.

I hit an armadillo with the front lip. It broke into 3 pieces. My neighbor is putting back together the lip and painting it for me. He owns a high volume body shop and did a wonderful/flawless job on shaving my 6 front bumper holes (car is from Texas) and fixing my ripped sideskirt.

Oh ok, I get it now. Just haven't heard about them before this. Probably explains why they look so damn nice.

I actually got a great deal on these. It also took so long because of the custom color and custom offsets that was required by me. It took me a few days to calculate the offset, widths, tire sizes/brands and disk sizes before submitting the order. Just PM me if you are interested in some JDM wheels. I have a connection with a large vendor.

Sorry for the super late response! I haven't logged into this forum in a very long time. Regarding your question, I haven't gotten an alignment on the vehicle yet. But it looks to be around -1-2 degrees when it's completely raised and less than -3 when it's at its driving height/parked (with engine off). There is a 3 inch difference between fully raised (it's a button to air up the suspension a bit) vs driving height/parked.

I wanted to share with you guys another addition to my car family:
