Liking the new seats man. It's a big improvement from the stock ones and the tint job looks good too.

i did some tune up stuff this weekend and bought a VC gasket kit, that didnt come w/ teh grommets *pissed* so now i have to wait for my grommets to come in. i did get my OBD2 VC painted ITR style wise and looks great. so when my grommets come in ill put em on and not have to worry about oil leakage on my newly painted VC.

part of what i did this weekend...just waiting on my grommets to come in. i would have loved to put it in the oven, but i'm not having a stink apartment again

Where did you get the paint to do that? Someone local can powder coat mine like that but id rather do it myself.

Are you on clubintegra?

yea, i'm on there as integra_hot...you'll see my progress thread, same stuff on here is on there...here is the paint i got, i had to get Advance to order it..but Autozone here has the black paint in stock (what i used to do the wrinkle finish on the max)

i did get a little too heavy handed on the paint as you can see at the crevice where the cam gears are covered...but i'm not sweating it.

well my lame sony tape deck that came w/ the car, the tape portion, stopped working yesterday i used a tape adapter that i could hook up to my droid and play my music through that and it saved me from having to go get another deck. so now i'm in the search for a new cd player w/ bluetooth built in. i need to check my speakers, up front and in the rear to see if they have been replaced or not, if not i wont replace them. but if so, i guess ill be looking for some 3way in the front and 4way in the back..i may put some 6x9s in teh rear deck, and finish it all off w/ a nice 10" subwoofer and a decent amp. just for a little bump in the trunk

My little brother had an ef hatch years back and had a Kenwood tape deck that probably was 10yrs old and I was tripping on him using a tape adaptor for his ipod. this was ofcourse before the aux connection was offered for after market radios.

I didn't even know 4ways were even made, hmmm....

ordered my Kenwood BT648 (built in blue tooth) and a pair of pioneer 4 way 6.5" speakers for the front. ill keep looking for a good price on some 6x9s, i need to look to see if i need to build a little pod for it to sit onto.

i'm finding it really hard right now to find a good deal on a wheel/tire package...i might just buy some tires and the center caps since everyone wants a million dollars for some ugly POS oem wheels. i swear the honda scene is overpriced

well yesterday i got the deck replaced but i'm having a couple of issues, one is deck related, the other is BS wiring related, because of the dumbasses who owned the car before me...here's a glimpse of the BS i had to contend with

these idiots had all of the wiring put together w/ duct and black/wiring tape...i was pissed...i spent more time tiding up everything back there that they had f'd up more than anything....i need to find out teh wiring schematics of the speakers...all speakers work except what they cut behind the OEM wiring harness...i spliced and connected (straight wired the wires) so the kenwood harness and that rear right speaker isnt working. i'm also having a time to get the deck to stream music via bluetooth. anyone have any ideas about the color coding for the wiring on the speakers and any ideas about teh bluetooth streaming? i've got it to where i can hear phone calls etc come through, but i cant stream music, which is the main reason i got it.

ok i found this link in searching:

http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.pdf

obviously i have my wiring right, the speaker still isnt playing i guess i'm going to try another speaker in there to see what it does and hope it plays, if not, i really dont feel like pulling out the deck to reinspect the wiring, but everything was snug and correctly connected....

is the OEM stereo connecter some sort of insulator or something? because right now i have the brown/white (negative) and red/yellow (positive) straight wired to the purple (positive) and purple w/ black stripe (negative)

did some work this weekend...went and got the tires removed...started wet sanding (started at 800 grit since i didnt feel like going back to the parts store to get 400 grit) and taped up the wheels to paint the inserts...have to get another can of paint so i can finish it up today, and i guess ill finish wet sanding this week. it should be done by the end of this week.

Before using aircraft stripper:

During aircraft stripper:

800 Grit wet sanded complete:

Taped off and ready to paint the inserts:

Primed:

ill get more pics today

more progress on teh wheels:

Gunmetal w/ 800 grit wetsanded:

hard to see the imperfections of hte cut off point until you're there in person

one on the far left is pretty much done at 1000 grit wetsand..i guess it was the perfect grit when i did the other two wheels

00 grit wet sanded, ready to get compounded and mothers polished..hopefully itll all be done tomorrow

yes, i didnt go all the way down to 320 grit etc to get the gouges on the lips out because i didnt deem it necessary to go through all of that, this is currently my beater and i dont plan for this car to be a show queen or the like, just wanted a cleaner look than the rattle canned hubcaps thats on there now. but all in all i'm absolutely happy w/ the results thus far, that 2000 grit did work on these wheels

nice wheel work man, that's no easy task, looks great. im confused though, it look like you had black on the return sides of the spokes... and the latest pics you don't? like you taped up to have a dual color/finish and now its all one?

i'm kind of confused about what you are saying but ill take the little bit i think you are asking and go from there

what i did was paint the inserts gunmetal (really wanted silver but couldnt find it). i taped off all the polished parts of the wheel the best i could and spray painted it..i then removed the tape and proceeded to polish the face w/ 1000 grit to 2000 grit.

yea its alot of work, but i swear its more rewardign then painting wheels, real talk

Looks insanely awesome, but yeah i see what you did now and its what I described, you can see it best in the picture i am quoting. you have a dual finsih, and what you call the inserts is what I called the returning sides of the spokes.

NICE!!!

When you stripped the wheels the faces had lines on the face, I was asking if u sanded the faces with the lines/grooves or against them...

Wheels look great, way to dress up that DD.

Will that aircraft stripper remove spray paint from wheels?
