thanks to a fellow slammed 5th gen owner...i was able to pull my passenger side axle last night in the maxima...in the dark...used the beater as a light source...so when i turned the beater around and turned it off...i saw a little bit of steam and smelled a sweet smell, but i wasnt at the candy shop. so i popped the hood...OHHHHHHHHH LUCKY ME!! now i have to replace the radiator in that bish as well..FML

-Radiator

lol at worse i can get a radiator from ebay for $50..take a couple of days...btu ima try this local radiator spot that sells radiators cheap and the caliper is nothing but $30...but i'm trying to focus on paying down my CC. trying to eliminate alot of accumulated debt.

as far as honda...LOL thats why i love it..so many parts are cheap on it. i also need, i guess, an axle, its clicking but the passenger side boot isnt busted ill change it and hopefully itll solve that problem too

either the company or fedex has me pissed off right now...not super pissed, but i paid the extra $11 to have 2 day shipping so i could have my bracket/battery hold down by saturday to install and it didnt arrive. if it doesnt show up today i'm gona dispute to get my $11 back

at least my battery came in (1 day late) but its here... (Odyssey PC680MJT)

there is the pic of how it came up short, i just got two pieces of carpet that was from being trimmed and stuffed it in there and you cant tell now, i mean its just me and my homie that helped me install the carpet. the other mistakes are my fault, mainly on the passenger side where i trimmed too short...but you live and you learn. i shot the pics to stock interiors, i'm going to wait to see what they do

removed the metal jacket from the battery last night, with a little elbow grease, had my homeboy, who is out of work, paint it for me (wrinkle black) and shot him some cash...

just for reference how the bracket looked prior to painting

thanks man and i dont know about the battery, i'm pretty sure it can just check the specs of that battery compared to the specs of the OEM and make your decision. if mine falters it'd probably be because of the underpowered alternator. but so far, its been doing pretty good, itself.

got my one pieces and amber signals in this past weekend. for the most part the car is pretty complete. things i'd get now are things that werent on the original list.

oh...checked the shipping status on my hoses, THE THING I NEEDED THE MOST!! AND IT WAS DEEMED UNDELIVERABLE BECAUSE OF THE ADDRESS!!!!!! WTF?!?!? my speedo cable, from USPS, same company that deemed the address undeliverable, delivered the speedo cable to that address...thats some bull****!!!!!! i need those hoses, and not for cosmetic, more like really need it. the 'new hose' i have on there is seeping coolant ever so slightly, but i dont like coolant spots on my trans. FAWKKKK!!!!!

these updates come from one of the integra forums i'm on:

*sigh* since the accident and all the discrepencies, still havent gotten the check, and its been over a month SMFH..here's a pictorial update...

took a day to remove all the parts assuming i was going to get a decent enough check to get another stock DA/DB...

so i stripped it...

Name: IMAG0636.jpg
Views: 83
Size: 164.5 KB

then found out what i was getting, so decided to buy it back (still highly not a fan of the salvage title at all) and took it to the body shop i deal w/, this guy's place doesnt show how quality his work is. so i'm planning to get it painted while it's in the body shop getting repaired..

well since i melted the speedometer in my DB i bought another dash

Name: IMAG0902.jpg
Views: 42
Size: 99.8 KB

so i had a wierd idea to paint my needles the colors of the Tennessee Titans logo

so i went to the arts and crafts place and got some paint markers..

taped it up

Name: IMAG0904.jpg
Views: 70
Size: 98.2 KB

and i did this.. (dark blue, red, light blue, silver)

Name: IMAG0907.jpg
Views: 25
Size: 103.8 KB

I was on the fence of liking this, so with the help of a friend looking at it...i switched up it (dark blue, red, red, dark blue)

Name: IMAG0911.jpg
Views: 80
Size: 93.9 KB

was really hoping that the LEDs i bought from this vendor on one of the integra websites sent something worthwhile..well he sent me alot of bullsh1t, so i ended up throwing some amber bulbs in there, basically w/ the painted needles, doesnt look like nothing i planned for..may eventually pull it back out and paint them amber, but for now i know how fast i'm going

that's pretty much where i'm at
