I've never been a fan of Stern wheels and if you swapped out the interior to a black one then it wouldn't look like doo-doo. But I like everything else

No issues whatsoever. Ive encountered a rubbing issue on the rear when I hit small bumps or where the road is uneven. Takes the paint off of the inner fender but hasnt messed up the chrome at all. Regardless of "he said she said", the wheels arent bad quality or anything. Coming from personal experience, not hearsay.

as far as the blue car vs. your car; yes the blue car is the only one of two that is vip styled, and yes it is reasonably well executed vip style.

so back to the blue cefiro, while it has seemingly nothing in common with the y33 you posted they are both well executed vip (or vip style if the label matters to you) from different periods. your car, on the other hand, has nothing in common with either and is basically a typical usdm i30 build with some junction produce accesories.
Agreed.

Although I'm not a fan of your "VIP" build I respect the effort that you've
put into your car. Its no VIP but definitly not a bad at all.

Nice work so far.

I will say ditch the stern wheels for something else that is not full polish Polished lip and brushed face will look amazing and the black on tan looks a little tacky either go full black of full tan.

I was originally going with a brushed wheel, but out of stock everywhere. The full polished Stern wheel was actually my second choice. Dont know why the hate for the wheel, but to each their own. Honestly, its my car and if I like it then it really doesnt matter.

I dont know the TRUE definition of VIP and neither, I think does anyone else since (in my opinion) it is always constantly evolving...therefore it has no definition and it's just another trend of which we can all gather up inspiring ideas from. Either way I wanna say that whatever trend inspired YOU to do YOUR car, the way that YOU chose, with whatever STYLING cues YOU decided to go with.. it looks absolutely amazing man. Especially for a DD. +1

No offense to you.

While on that note, you are saying that blue I30 is in the same league as this....?

Doesn't make sense. Of course the I30 isn't a true platform....but what's the Cima have? Aimgain lip and side skirts, drop and wheels. The I30 is over the top and looks like something I would see in Fast and Furious...that's my opinion. Whether or not that's the "right" opinion according to you isn't my concern.

Never said "oh my car is full blown VIP, it's the sickest **** you'll ever see and blows these Q45's away"....no, never said that. I said I am VIP inspired and the touch is there.
Whats the specs on this hot ride?
This is a black i30 correct?

No the car in this picture is Y33 Cima (Q45 in the states) with an Aimgain kit on it.
