Lookin good, color matched grille and your set.

Can you give more details of what you did with the fuse box

Thanks. I've been keeping an eye out for one. The original owner crashed the car in '98 and they just tossed on a chrome grille when it was repaired. The chrome has grown on me though..

I can't decide if I want to get/make a badgeless color matched grille or just a color matched grille.

I unbolted the fusebox and removed the plastic holder, then laid it on its side underneath the filter.

Mine was chrome too...hated the chrome so I painted it black. May be another option for you.

I've thought about it, but I don't like the unfinished look it would have.

On another note, went to Import Face Off yesterday. Ran a 14.79@95.98. DA was about 4500

Don't know if that is good considering your mods, but it seems that the 00VI really does hold power at the higher end. Seems quick too

You have the DE-K upper, right? That tach needle really moves especially at the top end! That must be a fun car...

The weather was terrible for racing, that's why the times are slower. I ran a 14.5 with a DA of 1700 and this 14.7 with a DA of 4500. Only mod difference is a 3.5" intake & maf and full interior in the 14.7 run.

Yes I have the de-k upper, lower, and injectors among other mods. Thanks, I really do enjoy driving it.

Nice 4th gen. I've seen FDs on many cars before, but never crossed my mind that I'd see then on a Max. They look nice on the Max.

Whats the deal with the maf? I thought that 4th gen mafs needed an adaptor to go inline with the tube? That one looks modified to sit in a hole cut to fit? I've never seen this done before. I'm genuenly curious.
