Why would you wanna stay in a fish bowl? UT tint laws are pretty strict but I can't stand everyone seeing me do everything. What if you have to pick your nose?

In NY it's no less than 70% which is useless. I could get away with 35% but I kind of like my car without tint. People would still see me pick my nose either way.

Yeah I can take some more. Trust me you don't, the old tint on my rear window was all wrinkled so I couldn't see clearly out the rear window.

Nope. Old wrinkly tint came with the car. Had a groupon for this tint.

I'm planning on getting a new bumper and grille and having them painted. Haven't decided what I'm going to do with the hood and spoiler yet.

I've still got a little ways to go, though. Right now my best is 27.1 mpg with 70% city.

If you had a 6speed you'd be over 30mpg easy.

Without a doubt. I just can't justify the cost of a swap unless my tranny breaks.

I plan on doing this very soon. My OE plastic pieces up front had started to fall off. I left for work the other day and kept hearing a scrapping sound. Turned out that I was dragging it from only hanging on to the bottom of the car from one bolt.

I found the FRP at Home Depot. I plan to do the whole front and rear. These cars get a lot of drag from the rear undercarriage. I'd love to add a diffuser to the rear as well. I wonder if it would be possible to use fiberglass bondo to build a diffuser with this stuff.

I need to get off my lazy **** and make the rear diffuser. I have no excuses now that the semester is over.

I'm having a hard time picturing how the bondo will be used with the FRP, care to explain?

I'm in no way shape or form a body expert. I would assume since it's made from fiberglass that bondo would make a hold of it. But I'm not 100% sure how durable it would be.

The other idea is to make a diffuser from sheet metal. A 5th gen member did it long ago.

Are you using the bondo to mold it to the bumper? Or make the entire diffuser out of it?

I was thinking to make the diffuser. I wouldn't mold it to the bumper. If you did that it could never be removed.

I wouldn't trust that much bondo to hold together. Why not just use FRP, coroplast, or aluminum?

If by wires you mean hoses, then the DE-K should only have two, one that goes to the front VC and the breather hose the goes to the vacuum gallery. The breather hose is just hanging in the engine bay right now.

And the third IACV hose was deleted when I installed the 00vi and Pathfinder IACV.

If you really wanted to get serious you'd tape off all the cracks in the front.

If I do decide to seal all the seams, I would want to find a more permanent, yet reusable solution.

I've been a member there since 2008

Grille blocking is on my to do list as well, it was just easier to make to cutouts for my bumper first.
