damn...-4? what kind of coilovers do you have? I'm @ -3 and i thought I maxed out...guess not. I'm probably getting camber bolts soon to get a little more low.

i'd like to think that federals run true to size and are a hard tire to install..or maybe that part of it was that at that time i had 265/30s....either way...aside form the eventual road noise, i loved those tires

They had 0 problems installing my 225/40's on my 9.5's. Literally took them minutes to mount and balance 2 of them. They didn't have to use a cheetah either. The Falkens on the other hand....was a pain.
#205
haha...they cursed me when i brought in my 30 series...had to be the profile for those..but then there was NO flex in those tires at all. but the way federals cut through the water....i've never experienced such a large orgasm going through water puddles ...felt like i was still on the pavement lol

Do you guys notice any big traction difference when going from a 255 to a 225 for instance? I would think there would be a significant difference.
I always see guys going with smaller wheels sizes for drop/looks. I have always tried to squeeze the largest tire I can on whatever I run for traction...
Vicious are those knock offs? Notice any big differences? I have heard they are not as strong and more likely to brake/bend but for 1/4 the price it seems like a no brainer to go with them.
**** 30 series. after running on 35s for a few years I cannot wait to get back to a normal tire size. I can't imagine how ****ty 30s are.

25.4mm = 1"....i rubbed even when i had 245/40/18s on the 8s....stretch is mandatory out back. i think 255 you can get away with up front, but not in the rear...235 is the limit on the back

I now run 245/35/20 with no rubbing all around, fenders are slightly rolled.
You must have rubbed because of the Sidewall Aspect Ratio of 40...or wheel offset...or I don't know why.

Yes, they are Rota Grids. I've had 0 issues so far with my wheels. As far as traction goes. TBH, I didn't notice much.

I've got 215/35's on an 8 inch in the front now and I don't really mind the ride, but I do miss having more sidewall lol. but I wouldn't run a thicker tire just because of that. for me it's stance first, then everything else follows.

I ran 255/35/19 on the rear, only rubber on big bumps, no fender roll or spacers, dropped on progress springs tucking rear tire.

I have the printout somewhere at home. I know I dialed back the camber to -2.5. It was just enough to get flush with my fender.
Yup yup, thanks!

thanks, I will try to get some better videos soon. In the mean time, I tore the boot on my OEM driver side Axle. I replaced both LCA's with Energy Suspension bits.

RGZ and I. Thanks for the kind word guys. I know the Advan's are not everyone's taste but I liked being different for a little while.
