Looking good - congrats man! Keep up the good work.

I'm running on S-Techs as well and can't wait to yank them out. If you are looking for coilovers, I'd suggest you buy new. From what I have seen, you are not going to save a whole lot buying used (if you can find them), and you don't know what they have been through, how long they're going to last, and you won't have warranty. I ordered a set of BC Racing C/O's from JM Auto Racing (see group buy section) for $918 shipped. Problem is, they're on backorder and they don't have a definitive date for shipping.

I'm debating whether to throw on some Illuminas in the meantime but that's an expensive bandaid.

Also, for your headlight restoration, check this product out: http://www.cureuv.com/lightrite-uv-c...small-can.html it's golden. My autobody guy was very impressed with it, and so am I. First he told me he could have clear coated them for me and it would have been the same, but after he applied it, he told me it was worth every penny (I bought the $55 can).

Anyway, just some tips. Good luck on the future work & keep the pics coming!

Thanks

But yeah, pretty ****ty ride huh? The drop and slight increase in handling are the only things stopping me from going back to stock for the time before i get my hands on some c/o's. Swaying towards getting new now that you are one of multiple people who told me to do so.
Suspension is most important to me right now so completing that is #1 other than some cosmetic mods.

As for that headlight restoration kit, it sounds pretty convincing so thanks for that. Ill try that out once i run out of diamondite which has hold up amazingly well since ive been gone for 2 months.

Thanks

Ordered blackout tape yesterday. How to blackout handles though?

Also installed grounding kit today. Signifigant differences in interior lighting and audio seems to work better. Thanks shinjiduo.

Wasnt sure to do this or not but i purchased a pair of black tails off someone from NYCM. I think it looks alright. I was trying to avoid the 'murdered out' look but i just loved the way these tails looked. Definitely my last black appearance mod.

Debating on illuminas/ h&r or gr-2's/ h&r. Coilovers are now out of the question since funds wont come along for a new set.

Clear markers are coming in tomorrow, looking to stick some leds in those along with a light smoke for the rear markers.

Thats it for now. Will also be ordering a buffer and other cleaning supplies in the next week or so. Front lip will also be re-sprayed.

If you add up the price of new struts/shocks, springs, dust boots & strut mounts (which if you don't need now, you will soon), you are pretty much at the price of a set of coilovers - just sayin' something to think about (I went through this too). The major plus will be your ability to lower it to just the way you want it, vs being stuck with whatever drop the springs will give you. I know money doesn't grow on trees, but trust me, the price difference is not that much.

IMHO, the clear sidemarkers don't go that well with your car, since it's dark and especially with the black tails (which I do like). Just a matter of personal taste, but I think it's look way better with smoked sidemarkers for some extra pizzazzzz...

Thanks man, probably plasti dipping the trim soon. Smoked sidemarkers have been on the list for a while. Beautiful two-tone btw.

I have thought about that, and you're right. Smoked markers soon, the LED's I put in there look sick. I'll get a pic tonight

Looks good think I seen your car around. Tails are the only thing maybe do red/smoked. Leave the too red and bottom smoked or red top and bottom. Black out window trim def. For the door handles you can buy vinyl and use that.

Edit my friend can do it he specializes in vinyl and car wraps

Thanks. I plan on plasti-dipping the window trim. I don't know how well it actually works but from what I've seen online it seems like the results are pretty good. And for the door handles, leme get some contact for your man that does it. You goin to the east coast meet?
