The new Max!!!

Picked this up on 12/10/11

RECENT SHOT

So far I have:
G35c 18s
Tein S tech
Sound system that consits of Rockford p400-4 and p1000/1bd and JL 10w3's.

Not enjoying the rough ride of the S techs so I'm in the market for a set of used coilovers.

After purchasing the g35 18's the ride got much smoother compared to the old wheels I had with low pro tires.

Picked it up a week ago. Just a quick iPhone shot.

If you don't plan on keeping it longer than a year, why spend more money on it? You won't get your money out of it unless you sell the parts separately from the car. And even then, you'll lose some money on the parts. Just my opinion.

I think it's a great start, though.

Might as well work with what I got for now.... Worse comes to worst I'll just part out the aftermarket parts. Again, I got a DEAL on this and it's very unlikely I'll be hit with a loss. The price I got it for is mainly the reason why I have budget to mod it.

Meh...it's whatever you choose to do. I'd try and be patient though. Regardless, nice pick up

Thanks, i honestly hated the other wheels. The s tech ride is harsh enough as it is and the low profiles just made it worse. Much more comfortable ride now.

Looks good, even better with the g35's.

Dang are the s techs that rough. I mean I have ksports and its pretty stiff. Hard to imagine s techs any harder than coils.

Not sure how they are compared to the k sports but too rough for my preference. They handle great though.

Upgraded to license plate LEDs. Love em.

Next lighting upgrade will be full interior LEDs and considering light smoke on the tails!

Also glad I grabbed these g35 wheels + tires for $300!! Definitely was a killer deal...

Got to the headlight restoration today. I forgot to get before and after of each headlight so I did before and after of restored headlight vs not yet restored headlight. I'll have to do a second pass on the drivers side as it did not turn out as well as the passenger side, but it still looks pretty damn good.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the results. Never really believed in headlight restore kits until I experienced hazy as **** headlights with Maximas. But now I do! I used Diamondite headlight restore kit that I bought from Autogeek. Used DeWalt drill with included cutting pads.

Yeah man I know, it's mostly swirls you see but I plan on respraying the part myself where there is no clear. Not too bad. Got sideswiped in a lot...Swirls I'll just buff out in the spring time. A lot of what you see is also salt flying up onto the bumper. We just got some snow here.
