Before my eibachhs, I ran 225/45/18 in front and 245/45/18 on stock suspension and not once did it rub ... Looks good keep up the work. Digging the LED corners

Fixed the cracked passenger mirror cover with non cracked one from junkyard. It just needs to be buffed up.

New Apexi Power Intake filter came. I haven't had a chance to get new cuplors but I did move the battery. to prep the area for the new intake. I still need to move the battery around some more, and possibly weld the tray up towards the firewall more.

Update!

Got the test pipe in finally. And fixed the nasty downstream exhaust leak that was destroying my gas mileage.

This is a 3" test pipe for the 240sx. Fits like a glove.

And I retrofit my headlights with GS300 projectors I pulled from the junkyard. No highbeams but I'm running with 6000k HID's. I still need to do a few minor adjustments but it has a pretty decent cut off for mostly eyeballing the entire retro.

Yeah, I have a before install sound clip but no after yet. The weather should be clearing up in the next few days and I'll take the camera out and get some good out of car and driving sound clips.

Not bad on the retro. Reminds me of my old J30 set up. Much better than stock, huh?

I'll be first to say it's far from professional. I'm sure If I would have sent them to you, they would look 150x better. Due to lack of funds though, I'm forced to do what I can. Honestly, I think for my first ever retro I'm feeling pretty good about the overall set up. Especially for the amount time/money I've spent. I think all in all It was less than $20 for both projectors and the J/B quickset and took less than 2 hours to do both.

As far as the light output... O M G. I see things I normally wouldn't on my daily commute home from work. I don't have high beams but I've come to realize I don't really need them much with a good cutoff adjustment and 6000k HID's.

Got some used Corbeau CR-1's for the Maxi. $40.00 for both. Only one small tear in on the drivers seat. I'll be cleaning them up really good before install and probably use some duplicolor fabric spray to bring them back to like new look.

No, I just have it removed for detailing. I'll probably move it to the trunk if I ever decide to build a turbo set up.

subbed. finally clicked your build thread link in your sig lol. awesome. you're doing everything to the car i want! if you get 17" 2003 TE wheels out car will be exactly the same by next year lol

keep me posted about the 00vi. i'll be re-doing mine as soon as i get a new LIM. should've done obx v2 before 00vi... yes top end is much improved but unequal y pipe doesn't sound awesome at all lol

whats the 00vi setup?

Funny you should say this...

Equal length long tube =

My set up will be:
5th gen UIM (dur)
VIAS Block off plate and power rod delete
4th gen LIM retapped
4th gen injectors (dur)
5th gen TB (IACV block off)
4th gen IACV (custom adapter plate)
EGR block off on manifold. (EGR is already fully deleted from V2 header install)

Once I get my Emanage Ultimate I'll swap the 4th gen LIM with the 5th gen after I've removed the butterfly valves, sealed the holes and give it a port and polish. Then I'll throw it on a dyno and give it a proper tune with the EMU.

Hey my car is dropped on tein s techs with tokico blue struts and the tire size at first where 245/40r18 they only rubbed barely when i had a full car in the back. I had to replace the two front tires asap due to alignment issues all I could afford were used at the time so i had to go with 245/45r18 and they rub the front taking sharp corners fast. You need to put pics up of the retro.

I'll take some in the morning. I still need to pull it out and adjust it so it doesn't sit so close to the dash in 1st, 3rd and 5th.

Update. Tried on some new wheels.

Drag 18" DR-42's Not sure of the offset. It's flush with the front and a little off on the rear.

That would be the spaced hinges. Trust me, if I had $600 to spend on a hood I'd be all over it. Unfortunately I don't for see one for a long while.
