those wheels look nice... i liked the s14 wheels too. what size are the rims (width)/tires and what drop? woot that fender gap is perfect! all you'd need are like 10-20mm spacers for the rear

 

Psh, my next set of tires is easily going to set me back $600-700. I wish I had a donor too, but I don't have the space to really store it. Unless I only wanted to park one car in the new garage.

Putting on a 00vi very soon and it will pretty much be a DE-K. If I was going to swap a motor I wouldn't waste time with the VQ30 I'd step it right up to the VQ35.

I plan to rock a spoiler-less carbon fiber trunk and hood when I get the money and probably a half size rear window spoiler.

YES! 00VI will be on by the end of July for sure. I have the garage space but moving into my new house has made me poor as **** for at least a month.. I will for sure get it on by next month and also take it to the track to compare to last months times with the USIM.

I love the S14 wheels and honestly I'll probably never get rid of them. The wheels are 18x8 (I think) not 100% sure. Tire size currently is 245/45/18 but the tread is shot and it rubs to much in the front. I'll be running new tires by the end of August with a lower profile tire. It's dropped on springs right now . I need money for coils. 2.25" front 2" rear. Hopefully I'll have coils and new tires by the end of the year. Then I'll really be stanced out.

Other than routine maintenance I don't have much new going on. I'll be getting new tires, windshield and finishing the 00VI swap by the end of next month. I hope to get onto the track afterwords to see how much of a difference the 00VI makes.

New belt to go with the seat. I'm ordering the brackets to put these in this month. It's been to long not having them in the car.



On another note, my VQ is losing compression

My license was suspended in June, SO everything related to the Max has been put off until further notice. Selling it may be an option at this point.

If possible, could we see a picture of the short throw shifter from inside the car? Does it hit the ac control panel? What was the whole machining of the bolt? You needed it shorter, did u need a whole through it for a pin, etc? Sorry for the 21 questions, I have the same short throw shifter but have never installed it. Wanted to know what its going to look like/what it is I need to do before I get to taking it apart...

It really isn't a big deal. A ticket I got for following to close 5 years ago didn't get paid. Here in Utah if you don't pay a ticket, they suspend your license. I was then pulled over for speeding about a month ago and they gave me a ticket for driving on suspended. I should have it back by the end of November though.

 

Car has been sold. It's a sad day to see her go. She will be missed <3
