Use your imagination- Color Combination

Whats up every body. So in the past I have had my car black on black (I removed the wing)

Now I have white on black

And I am looking into vinyl wrapping. I have wrapped the trunk and hood matte white but I ended up taking it off because it looked like I was driving a whale/panda.

So, in some cases people really can do a killer dual tone. I just had my car painted, so I will probably end up leaving it, but I can't help thinking that vinyl will make me more happy. It will reduce the damage I receive on the road, less scratches and hassle (I get really obsessed over that ****).

Honestly, I'd do black and orange if I could, unfortunately the guy with the Porsche gt3 RS would probably get some lolz from watching me drive by.

I have yet to see a black maxima with orange rims, but damn would I KILL to do it, but as I've said the Gt3 RS may not approve .

I dunno, I love dual tones, even if its not vinyl (Which would be bad ***, such as matte black car, gloss rear view mirrors.)

So what do you guys think!?

have you thought of doing matte black for the hood and trunk (maybe just the top of the trunk)? that would look kinda cool. white on black car doesnt work well for some reason versus black on white car :/

My car's not black, but close enough. The wheels are close to orange depending on the light. Maybe this will give you an idea how it''l look on your car. I say do the orange and to hell with the Porsche owner.

I was talking to the owner ( thats not his actual car, but he has that porsche/ color combo) and I asked "What other cars do you have?" He was a real laid back guy and calmy said "Oh, I have 2 Gt 3 rs', the other one is white and blue, I have the Porsche gt2, and my 458 italia.

LOL, now THAT is a car collection.

I may do orange

I won't say his profession but he is actually related to a good friend of mine. The thing is, its not like he is some 25 year old dude driving his dads cars, he is like mid 60's who probably worked his entire life to get them. Not to get too off topic, but when I was asking him about the ferrari he said it had a somewhat cheap interior. Now, normally I'd be like "WTF?" but then there was another guy at a car meet who's dad had a Ferrari F430, and said that although the engine is incredible, the interior is made like crap.

I'll tell you one thing though, whether people find it ugly/not. The white rims turn heads. One time i was driving down state street (Main street in the the town portion of my area) and his porsche was parked on the side of the street. Talk about losing all self confidence LOL

So, after learning that I may be more or less of a cop magnet, I am going to "Murder it out". I plan on doing what i Have done before, which was plasti dip, and just doing Matte Black wheels. Thankfully, I didn't go overboard with the white accents on my car because I knew I may have wanted to change it back. The only thing is, I'm not sure if its too boring.

Without the drop for now, But I like it.

All you gotta do is sprinkle some of this on your wheels:

And you'll get this:

i personally think the style of the wheels have a big part on what color looks good. for example, the "fat" 6 spoke wheels the OP has wont look good with orange wheels compared to a "skinny" 5 spoke wheel. the 5 spoke wheel may look a bit better with that color.

So I have it narrowed down to 1 of 2 things.

Matte Black
or Matte Black with metal flake.

I plan on doing plastidip like most people here, and they have this awesome metal flake that just covers it enough to give it a bit of shine.

Ended up going to prom with a girl since her boyfriend was a douche. I have to say that the black on black came off much better.

I can't help but laugh at the faces of people when I pulled up in a semi-murdered out car (I could use some tint). They were shocked it was for prom as opposed to a drive by shooting/drug deal.
