With that being said, I think I have a fair amount of rare or unusual parts on my car. Tell me what you think!

I'll start with mods that I've had over the years that I've taken off my car or sold.
-Here's my old 95 GLE with real David L tails


-I also had to remove my stage 2 LTB that was made by Matt to make room for Cattman headers, but I'm about to install a stage 1 that I just found.
-JClaw's traction bars
-Ben's rear strut mounts
-Cefiro Sport grille


-2J Racing 1st Gen Adjustable bump Steer kit custom fitted for a 4th gen

Some of the rarer things that I currently have are:
-Relocated battery
-Quaife differential (actually that trans just broke)
-245/45/17 Michelin Pilot Super Sports
-SuperPro rear trailing arm bushings
-Custom valved 9k/8k BC Racing coilovers
-Corner balanced to achieve 60.0%F/40.0%R, 50.0% L/R
-Stage 1+2 LTBs

-Nitrous and WB02 gauges w/bottle heater and activation switches (nitrous has been sold, need new gauge) in semi-discreet location
-Gunmetal colored aluminum dash kit that Shadow (IIRC) used to make, gunmetal gauge rings



Custom made Alcantara shift and e-brake boot (door panels coming soon)


Recaro Speed seat and Sparco wheel


4300 FX-R projectors in the headlights and 3000 Blazers in the fogs, from TRS and ChrisMax287


Removed three vertical bars from lower grille, smoothed, fiberglassed, painted

I've also got a Wilwood 12.9" front BBK with 2-piece rotors and Carbotech AX-6 pads all around


FastBrakes rear BBK with 12.3" rotors


And 245/40/17 Hoosier A6s. Did I mention I auto-x the shit out of this car, and it's about to start seeing road course abuse? I'm heading to Summit Point's Shenandoah Circuit tomorrow for a track day, and I just got my Carbotech XP-8 race pads bedded in




Phew, I'm spent. I need a cigarette (and I don't even smoke). There are a lot more pictures of everything here in my build thread or in my racing results thread. I pray my car comes home in one piece tomorrow. I just installed a brand new 5th gen clutch and flywheel on Wednesday night and I need them broken in by tomorrow's race, so I'm gonna go for a drive.

My LTB that I made fit with equal length headers, that I then broke and then fixed


I had Sub frame connectors and full 3" exhaust from y-connection on headers back, but my pictures are all going missing off photobucket some how.

Now my 6.8...Imagine what my Maxima would be like had I had more time with it. (I've had the GP longer now by a few months now)

Custom made coilovers, only 2004+ GP with them.


Custom made LCA, Solid joint (replaces front rubber bushing) and welded in bigger poly bushing.



CTS-V Calipers up front (I'm an the creator of this BBK, CTS-V Calipers, Mustang GT500 Rotors)


First 2004+ GP to do a Projector Retrofit (this is Retro #3 for me) I also relocated the turn signal up into High Beam location


My front lip is vinyl wrapped


LED doorhandles


And last but not least, I'm about to becoem the only 04+ GP with a manual, a 6 Speed no less.

what did you use for that (and where did you get it)? I've been looking for materials to make a full under tray and rear diffuser for a while.

 

Edit: i dont know what schemlly actually used but

Coroplast is the name brand but look for Corrugated Plastic Sheets. Its a pain to find because its not readily available for consumers to directly purchase. But call sign shops and ask em if you can buy a couple sheets. This is the best material to use for this.

I am working on a rear diffuser, and under body paneling also.

 

I used FRP. I'm thinking about making another with corrugated plastic as prophecy mentioned.

 

Nothing expensive or crazy over the top... a friend just cleaned up my SSIM and recoat it with this silver and stenciled my org name on it... i loved it

will try the sign shops, i would really would like to see the finish result on the rear defusser and under body

 

There's nothing unique about a high compression VQ35 with cams & ported heads and nitrous.

I'll add that on my 98 Max, I currently have JIC-FLT VIP coilovers...pretty rare.

Smoked the tails around the circles, smoked sidemarkers, painted hedlight housings, painted grill, installed "custom" front lip(thanks to lowes), plastidipped rims over my vacation this past 1 1/2 wks....also gutted cats and did the GAB mod. niiiice soundsZ!




black aftermarket leather installed by previous owner...compliments what I'm doing on the exterior, just need to add a few chrome bits(like gauge rings/shifter/sills)

All I can say is wow these cars are amazing. The panhard rod from a b15? Never would have thunk it. Manumatic? Are you kidding lol and all the CF looks amazing. I think Chrisman is going to be selling some side view shells and I want em even more now.

Ill post up more tomorrow when it is light out but my proudest addition to my car is my 4AT which has common mods but altogether uncommon. IMO to have a good performing 4AT is kind of rare lol:
