So I brought an I35....

And lets see what happens to it....

03 w/ 183k... Black on Black... Rear heated seats.... Broken bose 6cd changer.... Doesn't burn oil (or not that much anyways)

And yes the red car is around, no it's not going anywhere anytime soon... And it will always be in my possession, even after I die.

As long as I'm faster than you, I'll be fine, rather it be a 15.0 or 13.0

Gonna look stock for a long time....

Anywho, did some lame stuff to it this weekend...

4/13/13 - 186,0xx Miles
-Shinjiduo's Grounding Kit
-NWP Spacers
-NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
-New Valve Cover Gaskets
-Replaced the D2R's w/ Morimoto 5ks
-Replaced to Fogs w/ Nokya "2500" H3 bulbs
-Replaced the corner lights w/ Nokya "Yellow" Bulbs (Not as yellow as expected, may try other bulbs here)

I am quite surprised at the shifts now after installing the grounding kit, the 1-2 shift was sooo bad that I was going to do engine mounts before I did anything else, now after the grounding kit was installed I can actually hold off on doing motor mounts.

I need a real camera to capture how the lights are, also they need to be re-aimed too....

You mean G35???

They do look nice, but the offset is terrible, rather run this car with as few parts as possible (meaning no wheel spacers), i'm trying to keep it looking as stock as possible w/o it being stock, I have a long term plan in mind you will see underdevelopment in the next few months.

Ah, I think my job blocked the image then.

And I spy you have those rare azz rims on yours, I really liked those on the I35, they made me go "HAUFF" when I saw one in person.

These are the other shots from last weekend that Tigersharkdude took.

Yeahhhh, I'm tired of that life really, we honestly have the wrong car for that stuff, our car is so much more capable than those Hondas that slam their car to the ground why diminish it's capabilities by lowering it? Na-mean??

On the other hand, Springs + Struts are absolutely a nightmare, I almost never want to touch them ever again, they are the biggest PITA in the world and I have no idea why someone would want to even bother with them, especially when decent coilovers are cheaper than any decent Spring + Strut Combo.

Now if I do come up on a good deal on coilovers I will buy them, but just not have it low like the white or red car was once upon a time.

Bahahhaa, hey in my world, lame = anyone and their grandma can do it, it is lame but also a highly effective mod. That 1-2 shift went from ouch to oh-la-la, impressive for just a buncha wires, and w/ that black translucent wiring, underneath the hood still looks stock (my faaave part!)

Now this 07+ Altima V6 and 6mt swap I'm doing.... Not so lame

spring struts are wayy less aggravating than coilovers and less maintenence. i'm looking at replacing my springs/strut soon with tokiko's or eibach's cause the springs are rusted and beat and were cheapo maxspeeds.

Nope.

Springs/Struts are the biggest PITA imaginable, I'm pretty sure I will never deal with them again.

The only reason why I'd even touch springs/struts, it would be a fall back scenario if I actually have the money for suspension and I can not get blown coilovers for the I.
