Bye Maxima, Hello Accord

So, its been about 6 months into the ownership of my Maxima. After dealing with a lot of issues with my Maxima, I've decided to put it up for sale. I chose a 2014 Accord Sport for my next ride. I am really blown away by how nice this Honda is.

This is the first new car I've ever purchased and I've enjoyed it a lot in the last few days I've had it.

It is Modern Steel Metallic. Had 4 miles on it when I took delivery of it. Here are some pictures of the new ride.

I think Honda really surprised everyone with how good this new generation of Accords look. Congrats on the pick up. Any plans for it?

Well this one isn't top of the line that would be an EX-L. Didnt need leather since its freezing up here and don't care for the sunroof and push to start.

However it does have dual exhausts, paddle shifters, and 18's which I like a lot more than any of the options offered on higher trims.

Yeah those only come with a v6. Those cars are awesomely fast. The 6mt 4 banger sedan is no joke either. it runs 6.9. The cvt I have is marginally slower but oh so smooth. Love it. Its better than the altima cvt

Yeah loved this 9th gen more than any other mid size sedan available now.

As for plans, nothing to crazy yet. I bought this to get me through college reliably unlike the Maxima. Maybe just a viper alarm/autostart and some tint.

Very nice! From the side it looks a little like a BMW but the front look like a Corolla, kind of a interesting mix but a good looking one for sure!

Dude you are literally 2 mins away from me and in the same boat. The house we were planning on buying was on Washington. Someone outbid us last minute. Still on the lookout for a nice place.

So I sold my beautiful 4th gen today. I will miss the rawness and creature comforts of that car. But atleast it went to a good home.

Took a Quick Pic of her next to my Accord.

It's called Mommy and Daddy.

That's just what people are going to assume, unless you answer the question. If that's not the case, shouldn't you be more proud of HOW you make money, than WHAT you buy? And on that note, if you can afford a brand new Honda Accord at the ripe age of 17, then why are you even bothering wasting prime money making years going to college?

Of course if you sell drugs, that would be another reason to keep it a secret.

No drugs lol, but for curious minds :

Well for starter's it doesn't really matter to me what people think. I've worked every day since I was 14 (well paying job too), saved up nearly 90% of my paycheck and stashed it in the bank. Got a pretty good academic scholarship for Uni and got an even better job now that provides the rest of my tuition and I have enough for my monthly payment.

To an extent mommy and daddy do have a role, because throughout the years, housing ,food etc were provided.

EDIT: Why am I going to college? So I can further my education and one day attain a job that makes me even more money and instead of driving average family sedans I'll be driving GTR's and Ferrari's.

Good on ya man. I wish I was a lot smarter with my money when I was your age. That attitude will take you pretty far. Nice score on the Accord too!

Meh, my cousin had a c4, hardly worth it. I believe he had a LT1 in it and there was always something going wrong with the car. He said that He would be lucky to avg 11mpg.

However when that clutch dropped, and I peeled out the fat rear tires, it made sense for those few seconds.

Nice! Is your's a 6 speed? I wish I wouldve got the 4500k from DDM, the ones I have now are a little too bright.

I was looking into a 8th gen before I realized I could swing a 9th gen, it was an 09 EXL Coupe 5 speed, 80k miles for like 6500 but it was a salvaged car so I didn't pursue it. I think the 9th gen sedans look a lot better than the 8th gen sedans but with the coupes it's vice versa. The 8th gen looks so much more classier.
